congrats to all that received a cc. I just called today and found out my file was assigned a case number and I received the iin number as well. once a case number is assign how long before I can complete ds261 and pay the fee and submit the Aos?

Also, it appears I can complete the 1864ez form.. I plan to submit my tax transcripts for the last three years and a letter from my current employer regarding my wages. Does the letter have to be notarized? I changed jobs three months ago so I do not have six months of pay stubs for this job. Do I have to include pay stubs and if so if I only include two would that be ok? I make enough so I'm not worry about the income.

Thanks abq for your responses my questions. Ill have him mail those items to me on Monday. I called Nvc this morning and they said its now taking them 43 days to assign a case number once they receive package from immigration. .so sad. Guess hubby wont be here before the end of the year.

Hello everyone. I recently received my NOA2 on October 1st 2014. I just wanted to know how long before NVC will issue a case number?

My nebraska approved my case on aug 22, 2014 and did not send my package to nvc until sept 9, 2014. However nvc didnt get my package until Oct 1, 14 and im still waiting for them to assign my case a case number. When I call nvc to check my status, they said it can take up to 30 days for them to scan my package in and assign it a case number

Also, when I send the Aos in since ive changed jobs since completing the 130 due to being laid off, will I have to submit a letter from my old employer stating I was laid off and my last pay stubs along w/ a employment letter from my mew employer and paystubs from their and my three last year s tax transcripts? I make enough but I was off work for three months before finding a new job. Therefore my new paystub will not reflect my total earrings this year so far. Plus when I started my new job I had taken a few days off w/out pay due to funeral so I dont want them to think I dont make that much. However my new employ letter will state my annual salary.

Good morning all I have a question for all that have sent in the IV package...I am the petitioner and I am a us citizen. My husband lives in Jamaica. We are currently waiting for nvc to assign our file with a case number. They received our case on oct 1,14. Since it appears that we will need to send my husband in passport,his birth certificate and police clearance, im trying to see how I can get these items to the Nvc w/out much delay since he has them and if he has to send them from jamaica, it will take weeks for nvc to get them. Im assuming all these docs will need to be originals. Im just confuse as to how we can get these documents to them w/in a one day turnaround time. He has all these docs right now except police clearance. He should have that by Nov 1. How was everyone able to send their iv package so quickly?

Thanks all for responding.....I've found its best to call NVC around 6:30 am central time and around 10:30 pm central time. I always can get thru around that time. The sad thing about it is they never have any information to provide other than your package has not been received. How is that possible when our case was in Nebraska and now forwarded to New Hampshire? Why does it take over a month to be received.

Hi... my 1130 package was approved on Aug 22, 2014 and I received a letter stating this and that my case was being sent to the NVC. However, on Sept 9 I received an email stating my case was approved and being sent to NVC. It's been 5 weeks and when I called NVC today, they said they do not have my package and that I have to send an email to NVC research so they can look into the matter. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi....when you say they admitted your civil documents, do you mean this is the day NVC received your package from Uscis?

I received my Noa2 on 8/22/2014 stating my case was approved and has been sent to nvc...... however on 9/4/14 I also received a letter saying the same thing... Does anyone know why this happened and which one is the correct date?

I received our approval today. 3/17/2014 priority date. Congrats to all that have received their approval.

My priority date is 3/17/14..I called yesterday and was told Nebraska is a little behind but they are still in the normal processing time. I was told to call back in a few weeks if I don't hear anything. Also, I was told that everyone case is different so thats why so cases are process quicker then others.

I just filed my i130 paperwork on 3/11/2014. I received NOA1 on 3/17/2014. I'm trying to decide if I should now file I129f because I would like my husband to be able to come to usa w/in the next 5 months... Per Nebraska processing time, it's only taking 5 months to process the i130s... Can I rely on the information that is on the immigration website?
