This could be good news for us. A Federal judge temporarily blocked Obama's immigration executive action, which was supposed to go into effect tomorrow. Maybe TSC will have more time to work on our petitions while this sits on the sideline for a while.

I did not say i felt better than the rest or put more effort in it than anybody else I am an average citizen. You need to calm down and get yourself together. No. The rest of us are sitting here pissed off waiting longer because people with a fiancé from the Philippines get expedited and jump the line in front of the rest of us. We can't even get any information on the status of our case while we're waiting, so we aren't excited or approved.
Yes it does. But it does NOT allow you to enter or leave the United States on a foreign passport if you are a U.S. citizen.
So once the oath ceremony is completed you can not use your Chinese passport to reenter this country.

You're creating way too much drama for no reason. New York is slow in general and they have not made an exception for you and put you ahead of anyone for whatever reason. If you check your status, which you do, you will see this message: "When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance."

Well, when a candidate is actually eligible to take an oath right away after they apply, USCIS doesn't have to push back interview dates and such and they get it done as soon as they can.
No matter what the priority date of the N400 is and no matter how quick the field office is, they seem to take their time with early filers, just to be on the safe side.
So as a result we have people that file early get naturalized in around 4-5 months on average vs 3 months for late filers.
