since I don't know the complications it may bring if there's any of using your maiden name to file your petition I would suggest to change all your documents to match your new last name so you may properly use your new last name (which I think can strengthen your case as being married to him). yes i know it may take a while but better be safe than sorry, right?

but yes cfo is a way for philippine government to track its people leaving the country for good (filipinos migrating to another country), that's its purpose and nothing more. the sad thing is they disguised it as a form of help for immigrants but in reality it can be compared to tagging an animal to identify it from the rest, don't get me wrong i have nothing against it because it is necessary for every government to track its own people, but they need to present it as it is.

my wife went through AP after her interview for missing documents, we mailed it as soon as we can. after almost two months of waiting, once every 2 weeks of inquiry and constant praying she get her visa issued (yesterday). This is an experience no one wish to go through but hang in there for tomorrow is a brighter day.
