Can take 4-6 months depending on if you have an interview or not and of course the contents of your submission as a great influence on your timeline.

If you check your status with your receipt ID, you will see a message with a tracking number to track delivery of your GC with USPS.

Just a heads up, my family flew from Mactan International Airport and during the CFO, they were told that the fees were 550 and 1620 respectively.Well, to their surprise, its now 750 and 1620.

UPDATE: I just wanna let you guys know that my wife and daughters received their resealed visa packets last Friday! I am pretty relieved! It was a fast one and I didn't have to spend a single peso on it. God is good!

My brother had his interview this morning and he is now on administrative processing they told him that he needs to bring certificate of celibacy (stating he is single and never been married) also a letter that state why mother did not file taxes.

UPDATE: So, I had finally got in contact with USEM and they had advised me to have my wife and daughter's visa packets including their passports to be mailed back to 2GO with an explanation letter of the event as well as a 2GO submission slip. I will update this post to hopefully help anybody that would have the same case. It has been an extremely stressful week. I am praying that this hurdle will be over before their day of departure. Please keep them in your prayers as well.

Hi All VJ gurus!

As much as I wanna be ecstatic that my family is coming here soon, we hit a major clusterf**ck in this journey.

I gave my wife and daughter instructions for the CFO and lo and behold, my daughter detached the stapled immigrant data summaries in all visa packets and made copies of it for CFO. As if that wasn't dumb enough to do, my daughter accidentally gave the original IDS to the CFO secretary and she made a big circle on their names and when the visa was issued. Now, I am asking your opinions as how I would go about this. Do I have to have my wife and daughters take the visa packet back to Embassy or can I just send my wife alone to take these packets to the Embassy to be resealed or restapled? Note: The yellow envelope remains sealed. OR can we just leave all immigrant data summaries with the circle in it in the visa packets and cross our fingers that the IOs would take them? The latter would be a relief since I just purchased tickets for them and their POE will be on the 29th from Cebu to JFK. Please advise and please no rude comments as I was just hoping the latter would be ok to proceed since I don't wanna bother my eldest daughter for money since she just shouldered all of the ELIS fees and immigration fees during this entire visa journey.

I understand that it is but it was clearly stated as having 2 valid IDs as a CFO requirement. I was just under the impression that if they thought of the passport and visa as form of IDs, wouldn't they only be requiring one valid ID instead? Just wondering... Hehehe

One account, after you setup the account to pay the ELIS fee it will ask if you would like to add another person.

When paying the fee you will have to provide the "A#" for each person, plus case file #

• If you would like to add another immigrant to your payment, enter his or her A-Number and DOS Case ID in the spaces provided, then select “Add.” Repeat this step for each immigrant you want to add. Each payment added will appear in the Immigrant Payee Table.
• To remove an immigrant, select “Remove.”
• When you are finished, select “Continue.

Hi All!

My wife and 2 daughters just got their visa today and I was wondering if anybody had any luck with seminar with minors only needing 1 valid ID. My 1 daughter recently just graduated college so the only ID that she has was her BLS ID, while my youngest only has her school ID. I saw the requirements and I don't see the NBI clearance. Can they utilize this as another form of ID? I hate for them to secure a postal ID when in fact they are not going to use it anyways since they are going to be immigrating.

Appreciate any info you folks have on this!

Well, my wife's CEAC status changed to ISSUED today and I am beyond grateful! God is GOOD! Anyways, I was thinking of paying the GC fee now and I was wondering since I am petitioning for 3 people, do I have to create 3 accounts with ELIS per beneficiary or just for my wife because she is the principal immigrant? Also, can anybody throw in the website for ELIS as well? I looked up the USCIS website and couldn't figure out which tab to click. (Maybe I am still so psyched that my wife and daughters are definitely coming.) Appreciate any replies.

There's a Philippine Embassy in NY. And even if you are GC holder, you are able to renew your passport because you are not a US citizen

Hello Everyone! I haven't updated my husband's interview experience yet.

Interview was scheduled for April 6th. everything went pretty smooth. at the 1st window They just requested his contact information to inform him when passport is ready, 2nd window requested original documents, 3rd Window - interview

Interview didn't last more than 5 mins, very basic questions like Who is sponsoring you? when did you get married? how did you meet your wife? any kids? have you been out of the country in the past few years? in the end he said: "Perfect, congratulations your visa application is approved and you will receive your passport with in 10 business days."

no additional documents were required, officer did not ask for any other proofs at the time of interview either.

April 7th CEAC status changed to ISSUED, now we are just waiting for the local courier call to pick up passport. I hope to receive it soon

anyone else recently interviewed? Esp from Pakistan? if yes, how long did it take from issuance of visa till your physically received passport? one of my friend got in 4-5 business days.

No update yet since they last touched the case last April 7. Hoping it would be issued soon. I have know idea why it's taking so long even though the only thing they needed is the NBI clearance with AKA.

My wife will be getting her NBI on Tuesday so hopefully hers gets processed sooner. Keep us posted when you receive your visa. Good Luck and safe travels to America!

We immediately went to the NBI office near the embassy. A personnel there kindly assisted US without asking for any bribe whatsoever. We didn't have to fall in the long line. I got a hit but thankfully my NBI clearance was new so they told me that I should have no problem getting it within the day. Kudos to that guy in NBI. More of you should be in government positions.

After getting the NBI clearance we went to the nearest 2GO branch and had it sent to the USEM.

USEM got it the following day, April 6.

Got 221g too coz they wanted the NBI clearance to have my AKA since my birth certificate has wrong spellings even though there was already a note in it from PSA stating the correction. I passed the new nbi clearance the same day of the interview. It's now with them but I'm still under AP. Waiting for an update.

How did you get your NBI on the same day? Do u live in Manila? My wife flew back in Cebu and had it done. We are patiently waiting for NBI to release it. What address did you use to mail the document? Or did NBI mailed it directly to USEM?
