Yes I read too that you can apply 90 days before your GC 3rd anniversary.

I know now when to apply it should be By July/01/ 2010 ... which is 3 months before I have been LPR for 3 years.

I have been in USA for 3 years and 3 months and I have been married to my husband for 4 years now.. But the first year I was here I was on K3 Visa " and then I applied for GC and I have been LPR for 2 years and 2 months now.... so Am I eligible for apply for citizenship or should I wait till I am 3 years on my GC?! which would be next Oct in 2010?... ALso I didn't leave the country all the time I was here except for 3 months and 2 weeks ???!

Any help would be appreciated!

Yeah I would love to be US citizen so the maximum I can stay is 5 months to be safe right?

Amirah Bethany is here via emergency C-section after 2 days of labor. She is a tiny little 7 pound peanut but oh so beautiful and we are all over the moon. I was in the hospital for 5 days and that surgery kicked my ### but in the next day or 2 I'll post some pics......

At first I was confused about whether or not to change my last name. On one hand I didn't want my ex's last name anymore but on the other I wanted to keep the same last name as my children. But then again I didn't feel it was right to have another man's last name while I'm married to Moh. I wasn't gonna change back to my maiden name because it's so damn common (Miller). In the end I took Moh's last name. I like it plus it looks and sounds nice (if you say it properly).

well it was very good she didn't ask any question may be because we have a baby togther ..and then she said my name check is still pending and something else I don't understand is true if youare K3 waiting fir name clreance you can't leave the country?????? how if my visa is valid for 2 years!!! and it will expires in August 2008?

We found out this morning from USCIS my husband's I-485 Name Check is still showing as "Pending" in the INS system and our AOS Interview is in only two weeks (9/20) at USCIS Phila. Does anyone know if for whatever reason the I-485 is approved, pending the Name Check clearance, if we can request an EAD to be issued that same day-- in light of the Name Check completion delay? We did not apply for an EAD initially because we saw a trend that the AOS approvals were happening so close to EADs being issued, we felt an EAD was not necessary. Any insight is much appreciated. May I ask you how do you know about the name check if it's not cleared or not? what is INS system is it a website or something I can look at and see if mine is cleared or not???I just wanna know whom can I ask about the name check?

I am very confused here I had my interview in August 8 and I am still on secuirity check ! I see that some people who had thier interview after me had thier GC already on what base they give to whom the GC first ! the one whowas interviwed first or something else? I called them today and they have no clue I wanna go visit my family and iam still waiting my Card..when I chech my status online it didn't update since june 8!!!!

well I had my interview last month and the officer said I am on secuirty check ..and she said Ican't leave the USA before my green card I will have to apply for AP and if i didn't i will not be able to enter the country iam not sure why If i am on k3 visa and my visa is not expired yet it will expire in a year from now I am planning to go see my family in amonth from now is it really true that i need this AP thing>>???
