Do you check the ceac website? Put in your case number and you will see the date with the most recent update on your case.
I was checking daily, hourly even, and literally the day after my Case Status was updated, I received Packet 3 in the mail, and the exact same thing happened for my interview date. Keep checking and when you see the date has updated, you will know they have sent you something and you will receive it the next day or the day after, depending on where you are. They send it first class.
We have watched the CEAC website everyday. London received our case the 17th (first update) then they updated it the 18th and then the 19th. whiteyadams (my fiance) had his medical on the 22nd. The case was then updated today, the 25th. He has still not received the first set of paperwork. Which we think is strange.

Perfect. Thank you! To book, Do I just call them in Knightsbridge? x
yep! They will ask name, date of birth, case number and they will tell you exactly what to bring and that you need to fill out a medical questioner.

I'm waiting for documentation for packet 3 to arrive from my fiancé in the usa and my police certificate. Can I book medical without these? They'll be here by next week.
I would wait until you have your police certificate to book the medical. You need to take it to the medical
-
I know! Just insane that it's almost done. This part at least lol. So now I'll wait for packet 3 yes?
If you know your case is already in London already, you can call and set up your medical and do the DS-160 and notification of applicant readiness form. Unless you want to wait a bit for the packet, that's your call. We called and scheduled our medical right away so we moved things along.

I personally used big paperclips to hold the sections together, stuck it in a big envelope and mailed!

Doesn't the affidavit of support have to have a original signature as well?
Yes it does

If you will read this whole short thread, it will help you with every detail you need to know for LONDON except "how long does this or that take?".
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/
It will take you by the hand and lead you.
It has helped us a lot!!! I have read it 10+ times!

Keep trying! Sometimes it talks constant trying to call! We got our NOA2 August 25th also and I called each day for the past week and a half. Finally on the 11th we got our case number! We did not receive an email confirmation. Once you get your case number you can go here for the next steps ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? once it says ready you can book your medical and do your forms online for the London embassy/ pay for visa.
Hope this helps!

You can indeed schedule the medical. I scheduled mine as soon as my file was in transit, and everything went fine! Some people say do it, some people say don't cos it will mess stuff up. Meh. I did it cos I knew my file would arrive at the embassy before my medical results, and it did. It's up to you though!
Thank you!!! We are going to schedule it tomorrow

We got our case number from NVC Today!!!! Can we schedule his medical now or should we wait for it to be received by the embassy?
-
RFE was sent off yesterday! Hoping and praying that we will have a decision soon!
Good luck!!!!!
-
Our case was received at the NVC today!!! Any ideas on how long they usually take to assign a case number and send it out?
-
I try over and over and usually get through within 10 minutes, I have called at 9am EST and around 3pm EST. Each time I have gotten through within 10 minutes but that is redialing them over and over constantly.
-
-
If you call early in the morning it's a lot easier. I called this morning, about 5 minutes after I started calling I got through... but then I waited 45 minutes on the line.
call about 730am-9am EST

We were approved on August 25th, 2014 and received a shipping notice the 29th of August.
-
You never know, could take 5 months. In the past it has been quicker for CSC so hopefully it will be quick for you too!
-
Yep! If everythings in your I-129f and they don't need anything else, your NOA2 will be next. Seeings as you are CSC, shouldn't be too long they are doing theirs faster than TSC. Goodluck!

USCIS will send Form I-797C, Notice of Action, to a customer in order to communicate information related to notices of:
- receipt,
- rejection,
- transfer,
- re-open, and
- appointment (fingerprint, biometric capture, interview, rescheduled).
If you receive a Form I-797C in the mail, please pay close attention to what it says. Ignoring the instructions in a Notice of Action might delay your case.
That is taken directly from the USCIS website here: http://www.uscis.gov/forms/form-i-797c-notice-action
It is your NOA 1

I sent it priority mail to this address:
USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266So yes, you are correct in sending to that address.
