Congrats to everyone with all the recent approvals!! I want to join the April NVC thread with you all! I'm hoping we get approved today...PD 10/4. C'mon Nebraska!!

Still waiting for an approval from NSC. Congratulations to everyone on their approvals thus far! Really happy for you all! Let's hope the rest of see something this week. Question, maybe some of you guys can help us out. Since I don't think the approval process is going to speed up any time soon, I don't think my husband will be home anywhere near the end of May/early June. My best friends wedding is in Acalpulco, Mexico on May 24th, my cousins wedding on May 25th in LA, and my cousins engagement party on June 7th in LA. I know my husband can get into Mexico but flying from AUS to Mexico is about 6k instead of $1600 to fly through LAX. Any experience with getting a transit visa? Do you think he would be approved for one? Should we wait till his I-130 is approved before applying? If we waited till I-130 is approved, do you think he would be successful in applying for a tourist visa just to come to the weddings and engagement? Just want to make sure nothing is going to affect his application for his actual I-130, but I would really like for him to attend as these are important events for me an my family.

Any thoughts or opinions you guys have will help.

I called up last week and spoke to a Tier 2 rep and they said their computers were down. This could be why there isn't an update online.

No approvals today? Whats going NSC?!!

Received our hard copy of the transfer notice in the mail today. For some reason, our receipt date was changed from Oct 4 to Oct 7th now? Anyone else have experience with their receipt date changing? And our PD date is blank on the transfer notice...

Here's hoping for some faster service at NSC!!!

I'm an OCtober 2013 filer. Our case was transferred today to the Nebraska Service Center. I'm just curious if any of you have recieved approvals from there and how long it took? I was really hoping to get transferred to CSC (as I'm sure a lot of people were) since they were approving so quickly. I hope Nebraska will be quick too....

Hi everyone,

Just joined the community! I've been following pretty closely to September filers and October. It's good to see that people have been transferred already and approved in some cases! I'm the US citizen filing for my Australian husband. Our priority date is Oct 4, 2013 and we were sent to NBC, so, hopefully we should be seeing a transfer sometime soon! Also, filed for a K-3 that was recieved on Feb 4, 2014. Fingers crossed!
