  1. Thanks a lot for a detailed reply. To add few things, my situation is the same as your fiance,s. I have come back to pak. My I-130 was approved while I was in London but for Nvc process I thought pakistan is better option because a UK visa can get expired during the nvc process and re. Apply takes time. I have also changed US embassy from London to islamabad and nvc has issued me a new case number started from islxxxxxxx. I hope they send my case to islamabad not to London...

  2. Hello everyone..!!!

NEED SOME HELP HERE..!! smile.png Ok so my husband is a PAKISTANI NATIONAL living in the U.K and has a POST STUDY WORK VISA which expires in AUG 2nd 2014. We have filed our case on SEP 2013 .. Recently transferred to CSC March 4th.. I doubt we will get this sorted before AUG 2014 ... :(

Question 1: What will happen if my husband's visa expires before the interview ?

Question 2: Is it possible to change the country ? (I know you can change the address)

Question 3: If yes, What if he goes back to PAKISTAN.. will the whole process take longer ? (do we have to start all over ??)

Any advice would be appreciated ..!

  3. Not sure where to post this qn on this forum. need some advise here.

We got married on 11 Nov 2012 in Singapore. I have since obtained a CR1 approval. I am still on my two years conditional visa/approval ( whatever you call it). I am seeking a divorce from my husband on ground of infidelity. My qns :

    1. Do I have to leave the country upon the divorce ? or I can apply to remove the conditions so as to remain in the USA ? The marriage was entered in good faith.

I sold my house in Singapore and move everything here. I have a house here and a job. I have nothing in Singapore and I really do not wish to go back to Singapore.

Hey,you should seek a lawyer a lot of them give a free advice..!! you don't need to go back home if your marriage was entered in good faith :) .. Hopefully there are ways you can still get the conditions lifted.

    Good luck xx

  4. Today marks 6 months since my "priority" date. Happy anniversary to all other 9/9 PD filers out there!

Sadly, my case status hasn't changed:

    Gathering Dust

You MIGHT BE be notified by mail IF a decision is EVER made, or if the office needs TO FUDGE THEIR MONTHLY NUMBERS. That's hilarious .. but the bitter truth..!!!

  5. A transfer is good news.

However if your husband's visa expires before he can have his interview, he would have to return to Pakistan and the case would then be sent to the embassy there vs to London. You'd need a new case number reflecting the correct embassy or consulate.

As he is from a high fraud country I hope that you guys have been treating his case as if he was interviewing in Pakistan. That means lots of evidence. Front-loading and side-loading when you get to the NVC. The consulate will not treat him any differently than if he interviewed in Pakistan. He likely would still receive some mandatory AP, but the time for that may be shortened if he was in London, but that is not a guarantee it will.

Thank you for your reply..!! Yes, we have been treating the case as if it was to be interviewed in Pakistan..!! How do we get a new case number ? & approximately how much longer does it take after the transfer.

Thank you again your help is really appreciated <3
