Based on the information you posted here, they don't have the complete financial evidence. Did you submit the police certificate? It seems they don't have that.

  2. Every embassy but Egypt and a few others have about the same kind of wait. It's all about when you get case complete and where you are in line and how many slots.

I don't even know if your country has started scheduling. Some started monday. Call NVC and ask has your country start scheduling. I tell this to everyone who wants to know.

I had you on the spreadsheet but you never answered my question what country so I deleted you. What was your Case Complete date?

Thanks dwheels76. Sorry about that I didn't inform you my country. My case is completed on July 22. NVC always telling me to wait for the interview to be scheduled and I don't have clue where I can get the start of scheduling time. You know it makes you out of plan.

  3. I finally sent the IV package! Fingers crossed that I won't get a checklist.

I'll fill out the DS-260 form next; then, I can finally relax! Maybe enjoy the endless (feels like) summer?

Wait! Since my AOS scan date is June 16, NVC will review my AOS package this week or next week.

OK! I'll get to relax after NVC has reviewed my AOS package assuming I don't get a checklist. :content: Fingers crossed!

My Checklist respond for AOS is enter into NVC system on June 11 but it is not reviewed yet. I don't think they are working on it to our expectation and probably we may need to wait a little more.

  4. Nothing to worry about. But 30 days isn;t like a rule is just what they say. And after a checklist it takes as long as it takes. I know people stranded at NVC over 30 days after. But you say 30 days tomorrow maybe this week you will get the news you want I say just call whenever you want to find out thats all you can do.

NVC isn't like USCIS where you call a Senator to tell them to hurry up. You just have to wait.

Scan date. NVC doesn't work like that. No one here has that info. It really is in order they get it however they get it.

I suggest for your peace of mind call NVC tomorrow and ask what is up with your checklist.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I hope I will get good news in the near future.

  5. Hello guys,

It has been a while since I visit this site. I have a question to you all. Tomorrow, it will be 30 business days since my response to checklist has been scanned into NVC system. I am a bit worried because they are not working on it to my expectation. Do you guys know what I need to do once it hits its 30 business days (That is tomorrow)? If you have information which scanned date they are working now, that will help me to gage mine. It is very painful process. Thanks a lot for your help on this important piece of my visa journey.

  6. You need to wait for the email as it has a barcoded cover page that goes back with the amended form, it didn't take long for our email to come through so I'd just give it a little time. As for false checklists, if you know it's false then you can ignore it.

Thanks a lot. They emailed me the checklist that day night and responded the same day. Do you know how long it will take to complete checklist review?

  7. Hello guys,

Through calling to NVC, I found out that they generated checklist for an error on AOS (I-864 form) and they explained me the error over the phone. However, I didn't get an email from them which will describe the checklist instruction. To save some time, I was thinking to send them back the corrected version of I-864 form including the cover sheet. My question to all of you is: Is there specific format to follow when we send them a response to checklist? I will appreciate if someone who passed through checklist process walk me through the contents of the checklist instruction letter. I also believe that the checklist instruction doesn't need to be sent back to them. Thanks a lot for your help!

  8. Yeah it was

    Hello Urbangirluk,
