  1. Visa "Issued" as of this morning.

Should arrive in 7-10 working days and then should be able to get my wife and step-son, though son to me, out of Philippines and here with me, her husband.

Thanks be to GOD for that!

    Thanks for your reply.

Congrats to you! How long have you waited since you reported about your child no claim to USC? Thanks again.

  2. So far it's been 3 weeks now.

I received my the child's passport & CRBA on Aug 13th and emailed the scanned copies on the same day. I didn't get their autoreply like I used to get when emailing them for updates. Since we're not sure wether they received it or not we contacted a senator to help us. With the power of the senator's email we were able to know where we at.

Again, their answer is disappointing. I was told at the interview that I was approved. Now, in their email they are telling me that it was a misunderstanding. That they still have to review my case.

I also tried to reach them for my medical exam because it's been past 6 month since I did it but as usual no one is attending the phone calls :(

  3. Hi guys!

My child's approved. Just got her CRBA and passport. It only took 1 month and half since they received the additional documents they asked. I am just wondering what about my visa & passport? Called IV Manila they asked me to email copies of my child's CRBA and passport bio-data page. Emailed it already.

Do you guys have an idea how soon they can mail my visa? Also my medical exam might have been expired. I had em Feb 2014.

Does anyone had gone through the same? Please share your experience.

    Thank you guys!

  4. Hi everyone,

I am happy to be part of Visa Journey.

This is a short introduction of my case.

I am a USC wife from the Philippines. My CR-1 visa and child's CR-2 were denied because according to them my child has a possible claim for US citizenship. We've submitted our CRBA application and still waiting for the processing of the additional documents. They asked for my husband's school transcript of records because he's 4 months short for the 5yr stay in the US and a letter from his command that their ship docked in Thailand. My husband is a USN. Thailand is where I conceived.

It's been 3 weeks I hope they get back to us by this week :)

    Thank you all

  5. I agree with Leatherneck :)

Also it's a good thing you have prepared something for the proof of domicile. They are going to count if your husband have lived in the US for 5 yrs. My child's CRBA got denied because my husband was 4 months short for the 5 yr period. We showed his military orders but they said it was still short of 4 months. So they asked us to mail his school transcripts. It's been 3 weeks since we sent the additional paperwork. I hope they get's back to us the soonest.

Good luck to your interview! Btw, our anniversary date is also April 29 :)

  6. Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure if it's the same. My concern is they denied my child's visa (referred to ACS for US citizenship claim) and they told me I was approved (CR-1)

However I still don't have my passport with the visa. I've been checking their CEAC status website from time to time and the result is always Administrative Processing.

I'd like to know if Zergjaime's wife/fiance was able to received her visa in a few weeks after the interview. Or his fiance/wife's visa was given after the CRBA?

    thanks!

  7. Hi Zergjaime, we had the same experienced. It's just that our's are CR1/CR2. They refused to give my child a visa and was referred to ACS for CRBA. They took my passport but it's been 20days my visa status is still A/P. (Interview February 4th 2014)

My question: have your wife received her passport with visa after even if you're not done with your child's CRBA?

    Thanks
