My K1 visa was approved finally last week (yay) and I fly out in a few weeks...my question is: one person at the embassy told me to put the chest x-ray in my checked luggage and another said to put it in my carry on....does anyone know which it is? And will taking it through an airport scanner damage it at all?

Also a really stupid question probably but is any US airport an approved point of entry? I'm flying Gatwick - Detroit and then connecting to my final US destination.

Im sorry, Im not meaning to confuse anyone.

We havent received ANYTHING yet back from the Nebraska Service center and its been over a month since we sent in the I29F application.

Im sorry to be confusing, the whole thing is just getting to me a bit.

My timeline is telling me it should be around April!! But everyone else seems to hear in around 2 weeks. Im a natural worrier though.

Do you think its worth my fiance calling them, are they going to give him any information or just tell him to wait for a receipt number?!

My fiance sent in the I29F application over a month ago now, and we still have not received a receipt number. How long did this generally take for other people. Im really beginning to worry about this. I know the whole process takes time, but Im beginning to worry that something is wrong and that they havent even started to process us yet.
