Your responses are helpful. I am currently unemployed and in the process of changing employment. However, by the time iAthink my fiancé will need the affidavit of support I don`t think I will have this in time, so I am using my mother as a sponsor as well. Do I still have to use myself as a sponsor even if I do not qualify for the poverty guidlines or could I just use my mother?

Also, for question 11 would my mother still only put "N/A (K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)"

My fiancé and I have just received our NOA2 we are currently waiting for the forms of to be sent to him from the embassy.

We are doing research on the website (very helpful) in order to prepare everything in advance, so it can go as smooth as possible.

Could he prepare his police check and translate it now? Would it be in the right time frame from when they expect the date on the police check to be vaild?

My fiancé and I have just received our NOA2 we are currently waiting for the forms of to be sent to him from the embassy.

We are doing research on the website (very helpful) in order to prepare everything in advance, so it can go as smooth as possible. With the form DS156K, what can we use as the evidence of engagement? We already sumbittmed this type of information with our petition. Can we sumbit all of the same information or would this be information concluding that we are still together after the petition has been sent. I currently do not have an engagement ring as it is not in our budget, so we cannot provide pictures or support about that. I will be visiting him in his country in about 3 weeks. I could use a copy of my flight itinerary.
