  1. Hi guys! I've been watching this thread, waiting for something to happen at NVC. On 10/23, I got an email from Vermont saying they were sending our case to NVC. Today was the first time I called them. I was only on on hold for 15-20 minutes and was surprised to find out they actually received our case on 11/14. Then I got the "42 days for a case #" blurb. I was pleasantly surprised and excited to get this show on the road. :)

  2. Thank you guys.... Is Been 7years i am with my husband and did not want to Come to USA just because of this long process iam not patient at all......and be separate as pregnat or with childrens Is very taf...

Anyway stop to complain !! I hope for all fillers that everything ll be all right, on time and easy...

See you soon ! (iam up and down) Will see how I ll be next week if Nothing change on my case...lol

    *hugs Lera*

It's tough, but you're strong. You've already made it seven years and your kids will make you even stronger. Just remember, this is the last thing that stands between you guys. You can do this! Once it's done, you'll be together and no one's going to take him away again!

For sure, there's much else we could do besides waiting lol but don't get me wrong, I am as excited as everyone else. It just that if we're going to JUST wait then it'll be harder on your part.

Exodaze, you are so right! My life is beyond busy. Before we filed these papers, I barely glanced at the calendar, but for when visits were getting close. The last year and half blew by.

Then we filed the papers and time stopped. Suddenly, I'm checking into VJ or the USCIS website a hundred times a day and time has come to a complete stop. I think the best thing to do is stop looking at the clock or this will never end.

  3. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! That's freaking awesome! *fingers crossed for you*

My husband only left to go home two months ago and I'm already starting to miss him like crazy so I'm packing up and heading to Sweden for a week at the end of the month.

I cannot wait to see him!! :dancing:(L):dancing:

But let's be honest. These trips are so expensive. This was the costliest by far. I'm not sure how much longer we can manage these back-to-back trips before it becomes a burden. I hope that we get approved before it does. Cause I'd rather go without food than without love! That's okay. I can stand to lose a few pounds anyway!

  4. We're doing what we can to get ready for the NVC stage of the process.

We haven't done much though. We're stuck on getting the long form of his birth certificate. He's got the short version and can't figure out how to get the other one or if there *is* another one.

That's kind of why we started now. Just in case things like that came up, that might take longer to get than we anticipated. (lol now I'm glad that we did) I'm getting all my tax papers and building a stash of pay stubs in the meantime as well.
