    Dear AP Family,

    how are u guys .??

    i got visa at Oct 20. , at oct 26 i was at POE. . and at Nov.16 i got PR card. now i am back in Pakistan...

    my category was F1 ( unmarried sn of US citizen). now my parents looking for Rishta ( Good girl from Jutt Family)

    Kindly Pray for me.. . .

    well come for any question regarding AP. or Green card .. or Social security card..

    Those of you that have been waiting in AP and have not gotten your visa yet should have fresh hope now. It is hard to see others get their visa while waiting but please do not let it make you sad and discouraged.

    In less than 3 years my husband will try to become a citizen and will bring his parents to live with us. His mother does not speak English so I think taking English classes while waiting is a good idea. I wish I had thought of that for my husband. He speaks English well but can not write it like he should.

    Here is anyone can please tell me after how many updates embassy ask for new documents....share experience

    Dear lil Friend,

    there is no updating chemistry , don't disturb urself in these counting. i can understand ur feelings. coz i m also living with out parents and Bros&Sis.

    so Concentrate on own prayers . and calm down my friend. . in next months u will be with Family.

    i was got 47 updates. . . now how can u estimate my case through updates. ?? so please. . its time to learn English and plan about your job or business in USA,. be prepare your self coz u have a only days now. not months. .

    well, above all context are my personal opinion i am writing for you cuz i can feel situation better than others.

    For Oath & Finger prints Applicants.:

    1, at Shuttle bus counter , there are a list of all applicants. check and memories own serial no.

    2, put a pen or pencil and original ID card with you.

    3, at gate of embassy they will check ur name in list. . tell him ur serial no.

    4, at token point they will ask again. tell him again , and they will issue 2 copies of token slip.

    5, after security clearance write ur case no. back of one token slip ang give it to security supervisor.

    6, then enjoy TV and Keep eyes on Token numbers. .

    After getting Good News Remember me and All AP Family In Prayers.

    Dear AP Family,

    Today I was scheduled for finger prints and Oath .

    After 14 months and 19 days. My status changed to " Issued ". Shuka Alhumdulillah Rab il Alameen.

    Just reached home after 7 hours plus driving. . .

    ( for those who have scheduled this months ( as 12:30 pm ),

    kindly reached at shuttle Bus Service area exactly 11:00 am . they start exactly at 12:31 pm.)

    keep original ID card in Hand.

    Thanks for all whose prayers for all. . . Allah Aap sub ke liya aisanian paida karey.

    Hi Guys,

    I gave interview in 2010 and have sent 3 times my medical forms ,now embassy is asking for my medical and renewed passports, I have mailed them twice in 15 days to give us back our old passports but their is no reply yet ,What you guys suggests I should do?

    they will reply you after sending passport. . . don't worry. . and congrats in Advance now your visa will approved soon.

    18 months and 20 days in ap and still continue and just updated on 24 sep after 7 month and than no update

    i got a call from embassy and we filed DS 260 and i give them interview they ask me to submit joint sponsor and finally they take my passport after 3 and half years and said to me that as soon as i submit these documents they give me visa. They also told me that there is no such thing in my case to hold more just we have to file JOINT SPONSOR . And they will give me visa . ALLHAMDOLLILAH.

    Well guyz received call from Islamabad embassy on 30th Sep 2014 that my docs are complete and i have to visit embassy for oath & fingerprints very next day. Interesting part is i missed 16 calls from them as I was sleeping late but still they tried me and got through on 17th time. So traveled to embassy last day n got issued.There were more than 30 ppl for same purpose and all were approved. Submitted my second medical on 4th August 2014 n that's it. Whole process was agonizing n disturbing but still we were very optimistic n I think Its not AP its a patience test that embassy conducts on every applicant. I conducted the whole process myself without any legal aid and RFE and there were some times when my folks asked me to hire an attorney but I knew attorney would do nothing.Me and my wife are both now happy and looking forward to better. Plz wish us luck for the original journey that starts now.I wish u all luck health n prosperity with your loved one's.Keep me in your prayers.

    Praise Allah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband was called into the embassy for fingerprint and oath today. He was called to the window, asked to do the oath and gave his fingerprints. The woman told him "Congratulations, you are approved. You will have your visa is 7-10 days. After 3 years of waiting, our journey is coming to an end and our new life together will begin. There have been many ups and downs through this whole process and I thank everyone here on this forum for all of your support. Here are the particulars of our case:

    • Married 11/11/2011
    • Filed 12/2011
    • Approved at USCIS 10/2012
    • Interview at embassy 1/2013
    • We saw sporadic updates from 1/2013-1/2014
    • There were several updates in 3/2014, result our case was requested back by USCIS
    • In May 2014 a Homeland Security officer visited my home in the US and interviewed me (wife/petitioner)
    • Returned to the embassy end of June
    • Request in the first week of July for updated documents (DS260, marriage certificate, nikkah nama, birth certificates), passport and medical were not requested at this time
    • About 5-6 updates until August 22nd
    • Congressional inquiry Sept 8th, response - waiting to schedule oath and fingerprints
    • Call from the embassy Sep 18th to schedule the appoiuntment, bring new medical and passport for the 29th
