I was denied when I applied for a visitor visa in 2013. (when I was planning to visit my fiance). In 2014 I got my K1-Visa easily. Just focus on your K1 application and do not even think about any previous denial. they are dramatically different processes. good luck!

If I get RFE because of the form i-693, would I just resend only that form to them or they would ask me to resend a whole new aos package??

I just sent my package wo i-693. For some people only vaccination worksheet paper was enough to be done wo rfe. one of my friend will send her aos package tomorrow and she will send only worksheet wo i-693. on her worksheet it says vaccine history incomplete ( bc for some of the vaccines Age is not apPropriate ). we will wait and see. nothing makes 100% sense in this process. good luck to all

I have Vaccination documentation worksheet completed by panel physician before i came to USA. some people only sent this paper with their aos package (wo i-693 form) and they didnt have rfe . but everytime I call USCIS to figure this silly thing out they tell me to see a physician. ok. BUT they also tell me that i wont need to do that if I had my medical exam. within last one year. Theres no clear info even we talk with them. each of them tells sth different. Im confused.

we will mail our AOS application package soon. However, when reviewing the online information/instructions it says that in certain cases, people who had medical exams in their home countries still *may* need to see a physician here. I already had my medical exam in my home country and I have a vaccination worksheet and a sealed CD. My question is should I send this work sheet with my package without form 693 or should I again see a physician who is certified and have him/her fill out the form.

Basically, do we have to send this 693 form?

what will I do with this worksheet that I have several copies of (that shows my vaccination records that I received before the visa interview at the consulate a few months back)?

on my vaccination worksheet it says "for ds 3025"--so what does this mean?

I am done with the AOS package except from this crazy vaccination form part.

one last question, do I need to send evidences of my relationship with my AOS package (photos, bank accounts)?

I got my visa and I have been in USA for 10 days. My fiance and I will get married two weeks later. Can I apply for a SSN before we get married? Actually I don`t know what to do before or after our official marriage?

I got my visa package and there is an instruction paper in it and it tells that before arrival you need to go online and pay a fee (which and for what i dont remember) If not in USA you can not get a Green Card. And at the end it tells what kind of visa holders do not need to make that payment before their arrival and that part is not very legible (bc of the bad copy I guess)on my sheet. What about K1 Visa holders?

I am done with K1 visa interview. (got the visa) Soon I ll be in USA and figuring the AOS process out. As u know we all go through a medical examination before interview. I did it in Ankara-Turkey and the embassy kept my medical results which is normal procedure. Will i need to go through another medical exmn. before AOS ? i heard that our first medicals are valid for one year so another one is not needed. How does that part work out? ( i have vaccination records and a Cd which i got from the clinic and been told to take them w me to the USA. i am not sure if that cd is what has the my medical infos)

i hope so. when the officer told that it was approved and would be ready at the pickup location i didnt even think if it would be in ap for weeks. well maybe im just freaking out, it has been just 3 days since i got approval. case status keeps changing and some people who had experence the same thing have been waiting foor couple weeks. we already paid thousands of dollars for my travel and it is freaking me out. what a crazy process! wish everyone a very smooth process.

I had my interview last Thursday and the officer told me that it was approved. Since that day My Case status has changed to these Ready/AP/Ready/AP I was not confused very much but now I am really confused. Hope everything is ok with it

i guess it was in open case. I`ve Just checked the status again now it says AP. /Ready/AP/Ready/AP/ I have no idea if thats normal procedure :s

Today it is ``Ready`` again. after approval (in last 4 days) it was /Ready/AP/Ready/...

I had my interview two days ago and at the end of the interview the officer told me that everything is fine and its been approved. When I checked my visa status I got little confused bc status is Administrative Process. and I get this message :

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

Is there a chance that after they approved they could still put it on AP? or its just a message shows up till its issued. The officer said ``u can get ur visa package in 7 days``! I hope they didnt put in AP bc they didnt say anythng about AP about our case. Just confused.

How was the interview?

it was smooth and easy. i waited at the waitinf room around 1,5 hrs. I was asked about my fiance`s job, my plans in Usa, how we met, how we communicate, where he lives, if i ever met his family, if he visited my family, what is our wedding plan.. after these questions she finished the interview and told me to expect to get my passport in 7 days from ptt office.

ah and she also wanted to see more photos of us and whatever i brought there as evidence.

I don`t know how mailing system works in your country but in some locations it can take one day for them to put it in their system (since almost everywhere they dont` go and check mails in person, they just use their system and based on the system they say they dont have it) I would say Wait for another day and keep checking . Like I said I cant know how it works in ur region but dnt overworry

I was very confused about this notarization stuff too. I ended up sending everything without getting them witnessed and We didn`t get RFE.
