Are we there yet?

Hi all! We're February 2017 filers and went for an InfoPass appointment the beginning of last month and received the I-551 stamp. We just received a letter in the mail  yesterday stating that our case has been transferred to the Nebraska Service Center. Hopefully, we'll hear something soon!
 
It sounds like quite a few of our cases are being transferred to Nebraska. Best of luck to everyone! 

I wanted to post my own reply to this thread just in case it's of any help to anyone in the future . I called the USCIS this morning and talked to a gentleman about my situation. He was going to change it on the AOS paperwork, but said that it might cause some problems with my husband traveling in the future so, we left it as is. He suggested that I wait until after he fills out the N-400 to become a citizen and at that time they will ask him what name he would like to go by. Unfortunately, that means we're going to have to update and change his name on a bunch of stuff, but I guess there's no really easy way to go about it. Hope this helps out others in the same situation. You may want to change it on the AOS paperwork prior to sending it in as Diana suggested above. Unfortunately, I asked the question too late in the process.

Just a curious question here. I've read that sometimes they don't require or ask you to go for an interview for a Green Card. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I've been seeing that almost everyone on here has an interview lined up.
Not that it really matters, but we're actually taking our long awaited honeymoon in September and I'm hoping the interview isn't scheduled during the time we're gone. That would suck!

Congratulations! It's so good to hear that some December 2013 filers are starting to get their NOA2's already. I'll keep our fingers crossed for the rest of us that are still waiting.
