Our CR-1 case has just been approved today, in Japanese Embassy
Thank you for all your support! I have been really encouraged by you all!
-
My wife has taken an interview in Japanese Embassy, and approved after only 5 questions today.
Finally it's 2 years since we started live apart!
Thank you for all supports in this web site and I really hope you, who are on the same "Feb 2014" boat,
all go through your own process smoothly!

My wife has taken an interview in Japanese Embassy, and approved after only 5 questions today.
She said the interviewer was very friendly and always smiling, ah we're lucky
Everything is done.
We'll have our wedding ceremony next month and then she'll quit her job in Japan, and come to US.
Finally it's 2 years since we started live apart!
Thank you for all supports in this web site and I really hope you all go through your own process smoothly!

My wife took BIO yesterday in JPN, which costs over 500$..
-
Our case's status displayed as "Ready" on CEAC web cite on 19th Dec
-
Yeah wish you good luck, too!
I think Japanese US embassy has many empty slots, because there's not much immigrants in our country..
I hope you are right -
My interview date is scheduled on Jan 26.
I can feel my wife and I now see the end of our journey, we should prepare well against the interview though...
-
NVC sent us P4 letter only 1day since CC email, and our interview date is scheduled!!
CC(e-mail) Dec 11, 2014 → P4(e-mail) Dec 12, 2014 → Interview date scheduled: JAN 26, 2015
I think Japanese US embassy has many empty slots, because there's not much immigrants in our country..

I just can't believe, but NVC sends us another letter now, merely 1day since CC, and our interview date is scheduled!!
CC(e-mail) Dec 11
P4(e-mail) Dec12
Interview date scheduled: JAN 26

Just got Case Complete from NVC
Now I'm waiting our interview date to be scheduled...hopefully US embassy in Tokyo is not so busy...
Has everyone on the "I-130 feb" boat already passed USCIS process? I hope so...
-
OK, finally I received CC today, Dec 11.
Although my AOS fee changed to N/A on Dec 4, my CC is officially Dec 11, right?
Let's see how long it takes to our interview date to be scheduled
-
Finally I also have just got an official e-mail from NVC(3:30am PST) that notifies our case has been completed.
Just a week from the day my AOS fee turned to "N/A".
-
It seems NVC did a hard work later in this week...
I'm still waiting for an official CC announcement from VNC. My attorney will contact them on 12/9.
-
I believe people who see "N/A" on their AOS Fee's status would get CC with high probability,
but we can't say the opposite is always true, that is, not all people who approved by NVC see "N/A" on their portal.
Congrats anyway
Hi all! Meant to write sooner but this is the first I could get on. Woke up Monday morning to an email from NVC saying that they had received all documents necessary for processing DH's visa and to wait for further information about embassy. Quickly checked CEAC to see if changed to N/A but it hadn't, still said "paid". So then I called and after 20 attempts to get through then 30 minutes on hold, NVC confirmed case complete on 11/21! It took them a week and a half to inform me.
Then woke up today to a checklist. Oh my goodness my heart dropped and I started freaking out. THANK GOD in the checklist it repeated multiple times we dont have to send anything to NVC but dh will have to bring the checklist to the interview. It has to do with something stupid on the I864a.
Anyways, good news! We have a CC!!!
Last scan date (on aos checklist) 10/10
Much luck and hope to all of you! -
Today my AOS fee status marked "N/A".... although it's not 100% guaranteed, I'm really looking forward to seeing Case Complete and Interview Data in future!
-
NVC received date on 10/9.
I've just checked https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx and confirmed that my AOS fee displayed "N/A"!
It was displayed as "PAID" just one hour ago.
-
I'm on 10/9 scan date, just waiting
Saylin, if you allow me,for peace of mind purpose, I'd like to ask for people who has their last scan dates between October 7 and 10 to just reply here. I've looked at your new 2014 spreadsheet and there's nobody there with those dates, so I wonder that's why this week will be apparently quiet for us here at VJ (few data to check the CCs..) and so we can breathe and believe tha people at NVC are working, even if we can't "feel" it.
Thank you and people from 7 to 10 Oct scan dates please show up. -
I'm using Google Chrome and Safari and cannot see the page on either browsers.
That is one possibility that the site doesn't support some browsers but some people complain that they could see before and now can't see it, so I just wrote what I can see
I myself don't remember I could see the page before...sorry my bad memory..lol
What browser are you using? If it is Firefox it will not work only Explorer. Try that or maybe they just have not released it yet for you to pay.
-
4th months in NVC, almost 2 years since I began to live apart from my wife. That's enough
Hopefully my first checkpoint (whatever it is, CC or checklist) is close!
-
As far as I observed, when I click "FEE" the web site returns the status code "302" and location header "https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx".
That means the site asks our web browser that "Hey, please jump to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx".
In other words, the cite is intentionally making us jump back to sign-in page. I assume this is just because the actual content or the related database is under a maintenance.
Anyway, we would see NVC's answer shortly, whatever it is
I wonder if those who are not close to CC yet can access their payment portal. Just trying to figure out if it is a technical problem or something else.

Regarding the first question, I even mixed two sizes(letter size and A4) of documents and passed with no problem.
My attorney also says it's okay, but I recommend u consolidate the size if you can, just for being less confusing:-)
Here's some other's experience:
