Hang in there!! I know that is pretty old to hear. Maybe I can offer a few tips! I know the wait to be with a love one can be very difficult, but let me ask you this. Is your love one coming to share in your happiness or are you depending on your love one to make you happy? If he is coming to share in your happiness, then great. Be happy that it's at the end of the road and you are at your destination. Get you plane ticket ready!! Get your home prepared!! Get your reunion outfit together!! Plan a welcome party!!! I'm pretty sure that about the time you get prepared, he will be there!! I know it's tough but when you are looking at everyone else and when they are approved, then it makes you think that something is wrong with yours but that's not the case. Besides the subscribers on this forum, there are thousands others out there. Good news are that you are near your 5 month mark, and this journey is almost over. Bad news is that you are letting other people's good news bring your down. Don't do it dear! This small wait is only a smiggit of time compared to a lifetime. There will even be times in marriage that you will want a little space. Enjoy that space while you got honey because it will disappear soon....
Ps: When I was in the navy and had to do a 6 month deployment away from my ex at the time, I developed goals that would take up the time that I was gone like body sculpting or losing wait. This works wonders. Start going to the gym and work on certain parts of your body. Look at youtube videos on shaping up.. This will kill the time.. good luck

As I wake at 520 am eastern standard time, I've notice stillness in the air. It was very quiet. Suddenly, to my left peripheral, there a blue light flashing on the top left handed corner of my Samsung Galaxy.I picked the wonderful but cracked phone and on the screen I noticed an email from visa journey for a response on this encouraging forum. I saw that a fellow November filer received just a text stating that they was approved. I was at peace and happy for this individual. BUT WAIT!!!! THEN I THOUGHT THAT IF THIS PERSON DIDN'T RECEIVE AND EMAIL IN ADDITION, IT'S POSSIBLE THAT I MAY HAVE RECEIVED A TEXT ON FROM USCIS. Immediately, i pressed the back button of the android and headed towards the messaging app. Upon clicking the app, my hopes flew towards the stars. In anticipation, with my palms sweaty and my heart beating fast, I wiped the crust out of my eyes and then say that my ............ wait for it ........... THAT MY CASE WAS UPDATED.....YAY ... BUT WAIT, MAYBE IT'S JUST AN RFE..... the journey to be continued..........
    Part 2 of this morning...
I flew to my computer laptop in which superman aint got nothing on me today. With my ashy hands, I pressed the power button. After loading, I USCIS website was already preloaded. At a simple click of the button to refresh the browser, I looked away. Then I looked back and saw..............................wait for it............................wait for it............

COME ON TSC!!!! RA RA RA! YOU CAN DO IT!!!
And everyone who already has their NOA2, congratulations! But, please stop whine-ing. Our NOA1 was November 5th and we aren't complaining. No system is perfect. Gazillions of people want to come to our country. So, the next time you complain, look at Australia, for instance. Or other much less desirable countries' policies regarding immigration. I'd say the good old USA, even with all its warts and zits, is doing a pretty darn good job considering 75% of the people in the world would move here if they could.
My two bits from a good ole Southern Boy.
    NOW GO TSC!!!!! I believe.

You can ask for help all you want, but it's not useful. People get impatient and they start calling, but it doesn't do anything.
It sucks, but all you can really do is wait.
And considering that spousal visas are taking so much longer to process (12-18 months, it seems), I think the 5 months waiting time that K1's are asked to wait isn't all that huge. Sure, it's frustrating when you see people get approved left and right and you're stuck waiting and waiting, but getting impatient won't help any.
