On June 5, 2017, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400.

Thank you everyone! So even through I am a September filer, most of my Memphis peeps are here so I will share my timeline with you.

05-18-17 oath ceremony
 
My journey took a total of 239 days or 8 months. 
 
The ceremony was small 60 people but only 58 attended + family members. The judge was friendly, and everything went smooth--before I knew it I was an amaerican! 
 
Best of luck to everyone and my Memphis peeps. Also, I did ask the immigration officer at the ceremony and it turns out that we keep the ANumbee forever.

Remember that it's not only about the time you've been married but also about the time you've been physically present in the US and living together. If you look up on the USCIS website marriage based page, you'll see all you need. There's even an elegibiliy worksheet.

The oath is on may 18th at the crack of dawn... I mean 7:30 in the morning 😁🇺🇸👌🏽🌈 I am so happy!!

I passed!! It took maybe ten minutes! 

Congratulations to all of you who got their interview or oath letters!
I have to say that my inteview was smooth and easy. The IO didn't ask for my passport, only to check my driver's licence and a green card. I knew those 100 questions by my heart, and I'm sure all of you'll be just fine.
Swearing was the crown of everything I did for the past 7 years. It feels so good to have all of this behind me. Proud to be an American Citizen! 🎉🇺🇸

@A&M21I'm a November filer and will be filing for my mom right away, although she doesn't want to live here but I'm her only child so I'm just planning ahead as she gets older. Both of my children are US citizens.
 
To answer your 2nd question, you have to file I-130. There is a forum on VJ for that. My plan once I have successfully completed the interview and have my oath scheduled is to get the form ready and the documents and file right away. For petition for my mom I have to submit my birth certificate and then the naturalization certificate. That at least gets you in line and then when that's approved then there are steps to be taken in their home country. Review this:https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-130instr.pdf

I haven't done the interview yet but from the accounts of people who did they only want ONE of the listed answers.
