Can you please share your interiew experience as my wife interview is on May 13, please give me detailed overview of what did they ask and how long did it take to get approved and visa being issued?

We were really nervous but my husband said it was really easy smooth process he said CO was American girl she didn't ask so many questions she looked all the Documents for a while and some basic questions where your wife work where she lives with who and she said congrats you are approved and you will get your passport within 30days but his interview was on April 16 we checked the ceac website next day and they issued the visa and on April 24 he got call to pick up his passport "don't worry so much everything will be fine inshallah" good luck

Allhumdulilla he received his passport today

Is it OK if we booked the ticket for middle of next month?

They normally says about a week. But i got it with in 3 days. Some times when they have load of work so they ask for more time. Its normal.

Thanks for responding we checked the ceac website and Allhumdulilla visa status is ISsued on 17 April but we haven't received any call to pick up the passport yet do?

He didn't stayed at any hotel he drove and he went in at 7 in the morning and he was done around 12 noon he said the CO didn't ask for anything

My husband I have all the original

CO. Nope I have everything in file just relax

My husband asked if she needs pictures

CO responded nope she only ask where your wife lives where she works

My hubby said she was really nice she said your file is very well organize that all my lawyer effort she approved and gave him original back and kept his passport and she said you will get your passport back with visa within a 30 days

But why 30 day I am confuse when I check the ceac website it said his case is in administration process can some one share their experience with us many thanks in advance

Hi all my hubby interviw was on February 25but for medical issues we had to wait for report to come back which took 8 weeks his reports came just fine shukar Allhumdulilla and he got phone call from Islamabad embassy his interview will take a place on April 16 inshallah good luck to all!

My husband interview was on February 25but due too medical issue Dr. Had to do some extra test for TB which Allhumdulilla came nagtive and he just got called from Islamabad embassy for his interview on April 16 can anyone share what kinda questions they will ask I am just really nervous and excited at the same time since day one at all stages off this process we faced problems in May its going to be 2years since I applied for my husband PLEASE keep us in your prayer!

We haven't heard anything back yet from Dr. He won't have his interview until the Dr. Send his medical to embassy which will be soon InShallah

This whole I130 process has been really hard it's going to be two years almost I applied on May2013 please keep us in your prayers!

so, did the Dr. confirm, when his final reports will come and when he can appear at interview?

Case was completed on January 5th and interview was on February 25but for medical reasons my husband didn't make it to the interview Dr. Said you can't attend the interview with out you medical reports his medical was on February 5 and the report we are waiting it takes months so we are almost there!

In his chest X-ray Dr. Saw something so they just want to confirm its not TB

Good News Folks !! we had our interview on tuesday, approved and visa in hand by thursday afternoon (picked up in isb)...

interview turned out very basic, did not even last a minute, CO was busy on his computer and in very good mood. im guessing he had his mind made up before interview started.

This is all he asked and said your passport will be available for pickup in one week:

1. who sponsored

2. where does he work

3. how did you meet

4. yours parents alive

We did not submit originals to NVC only copies, so before the interview a staff member took the passport pics, passport, medical report, original birth certificate and urdu and english nikah namas. During the interview the CO did not ask for no documents, not even for copies of civil documents. After interview we realized the CO did not return the originals of birth cert and nikah namas. We were worried but we received the originals back along with passport and visa from the courier.

Few things to note... the shuttle fare is Rs 500 per person. the courier charged Rs 850 when we picked the passport.

Shama, if you have filed 2014 tax returns, he should bring a copy of the complete return with him. If you have NOT filed your 2014 returns, then just the W2 should be sufficient.

Anyone with an interview after April 16, 2015 should have a complete copy of the 2014 tax return (or a 2014 Extension form) with you.

Congrats nayab my husband interview was today but he didn't go because of his medical his medical was done on 5th of February and Dr said the result won't be back until six weeks so we are just waiting for the results and embassy will call him then we are thinking around mid March inshallah

It's been very long journey for us please keep us in your prayers everyone

We are distrub as well I filed I130 in May 2013with every step I felt something went wrong and we just end up waiting and waiting and finally I thought it's going to to be OK on February 25 is his interview but because of medical two more months but hopefully soon we will be done with this mess let's hope for good good luck

My hubby started his TB test on the second and he went for three days and doctor told him he doesn't need to go for the interview and they will inform the embassy and the test takes two months doctor's also said if we call you in ten or twelve days it means you need to come back and you will need to take some further test or maybe a six months off treatment if the restate positive and if we don't contact you withen twelve days it means everything is fine and withen six weeks to two months embassy will call you for the interview its been threeten days we haven't heard from doctors so we are very positive everything is fine
