Need to feed myself up with more patience. Sigh
That's what we need to do :\
p.s keep an eye for mexico cut off date too , it's been said that once it catch up with ROW cut off date the VB will move marginally faster that it is now.

I am so grateful to God we have been approved for a visa!!!!!!!!! My hubby had a very good interview experience. He was not asked a lot of questions by the immigration officer and the few questions he was asked he was often cut off by the officer when answering because she already seemed satisfied with his answers. He took a binder full of forms, copies and evidence and the officer did not ask to see any of it. I also sent 3 photobooks I made with him and the officer only looked at 5 pages of 1 and was satisfied. I'll be posting a full review later. I just wanted to take the time to thank Dwheels, Solenta and other VJ members who have been such an amazing support. May God bless you all as much as He has blessed us.
Congrats
Hello everyone,
I am in need of your advice. My P4 says that NVC has submitted or sent all required documents to the Montreal consulate; does this mean I do not need to bring any photocopies except for the P4 letter???
Even for the passport photos the code says NVC sent them to the US Embassy/Consulate.
If all of them are sent to consulate then you need not to bring them , please read it again to make sure you did not miss anything.
Most people only need to bring Passports.

You only have 2 options either IR1/CR1 or K1 , disregard K3 it's obsolete now really.
Here is a detailed comparison
http://www.visajourney.com/content/compare
Look for IR1 and K1 then decide , one more thing she will have to stay in Canada during the process.
-
Once the petition filed she will have to return to home country and wait for visa interview before traveling back to US.
Don't bother trying visitor visa during the process not saying it's impossible but chance is little.
The spousal visa takes somewhere around a year.

Feb VB is coming out soon , keep an eye on it.
Good luck

That's NOA 1 , you will get NOA 2 a couple months later , the case will then be forwarded to NVC from USCIS.
From there your case will be processed at NVC , you will have to learn NVC process
Here is a wiki link for NVC process you can read and be prepare
http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process
Since you petition is F2A category it will take abit longer , more or less 2 years.
Be patient , mark my word ' It's a very long wait'
Good luck

There is nothing for you to do really , monthly visa bulletin plays an important role for F2A cases.
Just keep waiting.
I've been waiting for nearly 2 years now.

Christ ! this is ridiculous i can't figure out why they are still slowing things down , most of the occurred problems are probably solved few months back.

Happy New Year guys!!!
It's so great to be alive which means there's hope for today and perhaps tomorrow. Please let's all look on the brighter side. If you look at my signature you'd see just how close to being current I was before the great retrogression (just 24hrs). But I think patience is a great virtue! Slowly and steadily the movement is picking up again.
When I got into this forum more than a year ago, there were people who had been waiting for years but right now most of them have finished their visa journey and probably forgotten how it feels to wait. What I am saying in essence is, our turn is just around the corner. Someday soon I see all of us looking back at how long a wait it was, with a smile on our face for surviving it.
I want us to be hopeful that the FEBRUARY Visa bulletin brings good news in terms of prediction for coming months. At least I am hopeful we would get more than 3 weeks movement monthly.
For now, I continue to keep my fingers crossed as always
Wish you all an accomplished year ahead.
I couldn't agree more , well said , i could not have said it better.
We've made it this far.

As predicted in November's VB for the next few months, the movement per month is capped at min. 3 weeks and max. 5 weeks.
I know it's too early but i strongly believe that it's another 3 weeks movement. Late May PD will have to be patient.
Congrats to all those who get IL and good luck to those who haven't got IL yet.

Oh my god it will effect the kid the most when he/she grows up , i would not blame the kid and he/she should be forgiven it's clearly an accident. Hopefully he/she will be fine when he/she grows up.
