hi! can somebody please explain because im
a bit confused here. i got my greencard last saturday And i got an approval letter in the mail from uscis stating that the I130 was approved. but when i check my status online, i130 is still on the initial review stage. so my question is: when will they update my status online when i already got the approval letter in the mail from uscis? any explanation from you guys is greatly appreciated. thanks!

i filed in ny on jan 3. i was scheduled for
interview last may 30. you'll probably get your schedule in the mail on june and have your interview on july. im not so sure.

i had my interview last friday and i got approved! my question is, how long will it take for me to receive my greencard in the mail. pls bear with me as i am still figuring out how to adjust my timeline.. thanks!

i had my medical exam here in the US too! do i need to have another medical exam? i couldnt get a copy from my previous medical because it was sealed.. so i sent it to the uscis without getting a copy..

its in the phils. but we already had them sent through mail.

We took it quite literally and brought every piece of paper that we had accumulated associated with our immigration journey. YMMV.

At the bottom of your letter confirming your interview date will be a list of everything that is required. I have the letter filed deep somewhere, but I have managed to get hold of a check list I made in preparation of everything I needed to bring for the interview if that would help you?
- Interview notice letter
- My Passport
- It states to bring your 1-94 but I could not electronically find it on line and they used the stamps in my passport instead
- Copy of medical examination
- Copy of form I-864
- Evidence of sponsors US Citizenship
- Current W2 and previous 3 years
- Income Tax returns for previous 3 years, including this years as Filed jointly married
- Letter from husbands current employer confirming his rate of pay, weekly hours and overtime
- Letter from husbands employer confirming me as a listed emergency contact
- Documents showing I am listed as my husbands beneficiary
- Husbands pay stubs for the last 2 months
- My birth certificate
- Husbands Birth certificate
- my step-children's birth certificates
- Original copy of marriage certificate
- My divorce decree
- My husbands Divorce decree and custody papers for the children
- 2 years of joint tenancy leases in both our names
- A selection of updated photos
- Extra affidavits of support
- Joint utility bills
- A letter from my step-children's school confirming I am registered at the school as their step-mother and emergency contact
- Joint bank account details
- Joint credit card details
for your divorce decree, did you bring the complete decree, the entire pages or just the page where the judge and both of you and your ex signed?

hi everyone, im just so anxious about my upcoming interview this may 30. one of the docs i need to bring is my husband's annulment document. does it mean we need to bring all the pages in the annulment papers or just the page where my husband and his ex wife and the judge signed? the one we submitted when we filed was just that one page and we didnt get an rfe. but for the interview, do we need to bring all? please anyone help...

hi all! i have an upcoming interview on may 30 for my aos. the letter from the uscis says i need to provide all documentation establishing my eligibility for lawful permanent residence status. what does this mean? what documents do i need to show them? im the benificiary and my husband is the petitioner. please help!!

im on the same page as you are. and i did all the paperworks alone. without any help from a lawyer. but as long as you submit all the requirements they are asking and fill out the forms correctly( including writing n/a vs none), you'll be fine.

anybody who's a january 2014 scheduled for aos interviews this april or may? ive been waiting for an interview since feb 26. i just wanna know if we'll soon have a schedule. thanks!

oh i see... thanks! because i can see in the aos stats that theyre processing dec 20 filers. so i must be near already. with the ead/ap i can say that theyre pretty accurate since i have been following it until i got mine and they were really close to precise.

just put under status as F1 visa expired. i was under F1 visa too before i got married and i applied for aos a year after my F1 visa expired. so i just put F1 visa expired and then if there's a question about the date of expiration of visa, just put D/S.
