I believe in USCIS, I say still 7 - 8 months, hopefully Late December , Early January (but if it takes 10 months , which seems like it, March 2017)

I do not believe those dates either..

There are people from VSC getting approved from September...

I guess its just luck!

I believe online, it will change to "we received your biometrics"

Not 100% sure though.

Did a successful biometrics on 6/20.

Three people were in the line, in and out in 20 minutes...

If you guys are reading other topics , December 2015 member received an interview scheduled for July 19th. Just an FYI.

Just to give us some hopes (at least the ones who submitted to VSC)

Even though the VSC sites says that they are checking into July 2015, some August filers are being approved. Although they have waited 10 - 11 months...

I still hope that we can get this thing done late this year and early next year (Jan-Feb)

I send personal check, It does show on my bank account. Make sure you write TO : field correct.. Even though I wrote USCIS , I was lucky to not to get a RFE...

They are very picky about that.

Received NOA letter yesterday...

dated 5/16/16. Took 10 days to arrive.

Updated google file and added time frame over there as well.

My attorney is saying that it should not take no longer then 7 months... Hopefully I can be vacationing overseas by new years...

This happened to me when I was sending my first package (2 year GC).

They send me a NOA and RFE at the same time with my check only back.

First time, I gave them too much money lol , I mean, they can hold another $100 on me to get themselves a dinner or some! but they just send me the check back.

We shall see.

I am HAPPY to read all the progresses here in the site and wishing you all the best and good luck on EVERYBODY's progress.

UPDATE ON MY STATUS :

As you all know , lol, after filing an incorrect fee (still do not know which one was wrong), I resubmitted the application again on March 18th and they received it on March 19th. Still no answer, text, or email. I checked with Western Union and money orders have not been cashed either.

The only thing that I know is USCIS send me an actual mail saying that I submitted an incorrect fee and I know have a receipt number starting with MSCXXXXXXXXXXX... When I do follow it on USCIS.gov, it says that I submitted a wrong fee (and in ACCEPTANCE stage)

I wanted to ask you all if you know the CORRECT amount of fees that I do need to send these people (just in case that I might have submitted wrong fees again)

1) I-485 : I submitted $1070 (985 + 85)

2) I-130 : I submitted $420

3) I-1765 : I submitted $380 (not 465 because I paid 85 already , NOT SURE IF THIS IS RIGHT)

4) I-131 :I submitted $360 (ALTHOUGH no fees described in USCIS , NOT SURE IF THIS IS RIGHT)

and also, wanted to ask if you guys received any receipt number(s) and if they do start with MSCXXXXXXXX ... I find out that its in NEBRASKA Service Center number and I guess they have it now.

As far as I know, the RFE comes before any biometrics and such. I would suggest (which I did because I did not have any patience left) to call them on 1800 number and see whats going on with your application.

To my status ....

I resend the package today after it gets rejected. They will probably receive it tomorrow and hope to hear from them next week I guess...

I have an update ....

They have rejected my application (I emailed them which I did not get a response so I called them) due to not enough money send etc. etc.

I have send $1810 worth money orders ... They can keep the change lol...

So, we are sending it tomorrow again and see how it rolls out this time...

I was wondering how much you all guys paid for the following stuff .... I checked USCIS form fee website and everything seems to be normal...

I - 485 = I send 3 money orders of $500 + $500 + $70 =$1070

I -130 = I send $360 and $380 worth money orders.

But on the rejection paper it says that "I-485 money is unsufficient or something similar " ... I don't get it....

I actually did send it to Chicago Lockbox also, I just did not understand what was lockbox mean when I started my profile here so I wrote where my OPT got approved at. lol.

They actually told me that OPT (EAD card) will come in 3 weeks but it took me right at 86 days. So maybe it's my luck lol.

It was a AOS package (I-130, I 485 I believe and more)

When I applied for my I-765, they said it will take couple weeks, it took about 3.5 months to finish....

They are saying though ( I don't know how true this is ) , the government shutdown, immigration laws etc might be slowing down the progress...
