Hi everyone! I had my interview yesterday and was APPROVED!!!!! ☺️
The interview went awesome, so much better than I expected it to.
My interview was scheduled for 11.30, at 11.33 an Immigration officer came to get me and took me to his office. He introduced himself and asked me how I was today, I replied with ok, but really nervous. He said please don't be nervous, I'm not here to interrogate you. He asked me to take out my passport and green card and apologised as he would be talking to me, but mainly looking at the computer screen. There was one small problem he had to sort out with my case, when I had entered the US one time, they had two different identities listed for me. He said it was their problem, not mine and he would sort it out after my interview. He then asked if I'd changed my name in a court, replied no and said is it about the second middle name I left off? I explained there was never enough room on forms to put it, but he could add it. He filled out a form to change my name on the application (not a problem).
I was asked to put both my index fingers on a scanner. He then read some of my details off the form on the computer, name, phone number, address etc. He then asked me to write "The flag is red white and blue", then he asked the test questions:
What is the highest court?
Who is the chief Justice?
What was Abraham Lincoln most famous for?
What is the longest river in America?
Who was the father of our country?
What was the first 10 amendments called?
I got all 6 right, so he didn't ask anymore questions. He told me I'd passed the test! He then went through all my answers on the form and asked if I understood the oath. I replied yes. He explained it again as I can keep dual nationality. We chatted about England and how he loved the food there. Then he told me I was approved! It took 43 minutes (would have been less, but we chatted!)
All in all, a very positive experience and a lovely immigration officer.
Congratulations really happy for you!

Thanks all!!! Interview was short and sweet... I'm APPROVED!! Oath ceremony tentatively 5/30/19. (read below for full account and oath ceremony re-scheduling)
Long detailed version..:
I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled interview time. I was called up exactly at 1PM (my scheduled time). The whole event from me entering the building and leaving was 30 minutes.
Swore to tell the truth. Got my index finger biometrics from both hands. Then the officer administrated the civics test (What group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves? Why did the colonists fight the British? What is the political party of the President now? Who is the “Father of Our Country”? What is one responsibility that is only for United States citizens? We elect a President for how many years?). I had to read out one sentence on a screen (sorry can't remember what it was) and write a sentence ("There are fifty states.")
The officer then went over the basics of my application (SSN, DOB, wedding date, full name, where my parents are from, where I was born/current citizenship, where I work, spouse's full name where my spouse works). He asked me to confirm the travel dates, (eg: you went to Canada once in 2018? you went to Canada twice in 2017?) He commented we moved a lot in the past 3 years (spouse is in the military) but didn't really ask me anything further. The officer went through all the questions where you answer "No" to on the application. Then he said ok, you're approved!
I brought my tax returns with me, passport, my spouse's ID, and other evidence... but he didn't ask for it even once. All he asked for was my greencard and the N-400 interview notice that they mailed you. The officer that interviewed me said I was one of the fastest he's interviewed that day and he was very jokey and light hearted with me the whole time so it wasn't very nervewracking. I brought 2 friends with me and they were allowed to sit in the waiting room while I did everything.Once the officer said I was approved, I asked if I could have my oath ceremony at a date that worked for me. My spouse is in the military and won't be able to make the next oath ceremony (next week) and I know my spouse would want to be there for this day (also I go to all of his ceremonies so it's about time he goes to one of mine!). The officer was very understanding (for the record, he is also prior military) and he worked with me on dates and found one that would work for both me and my spouse next month. The office will mail me the official oath ceremony notice and I'll update again when I receive that. It is tentatively 5/30/19 unless they change something between today and then!
Hope this is helpful to someone. Good luck everyone!Wow congratulations!!. This group have been going super fast. I'm truly happy for everybody here.

Congrats! I got my notice in the morning, by 5pm the same day the letter and appt were in my account. Keep checking!!!
I've been checking lol like every minute.😅
Is really nice to be in a group with people that have gone thru the same. And still going. This is not a short process and is a really stressful one.
I applied for my k1 and k2 visa in 2013. Came here by 2014 didnt apply right away for the AOS did it in 2015. 2017 my ROC and now this is the last step. And I'm feeling fifty shades of happy right now. I know is not done, but I know a lot of people that has to wait even 8 to 10 months or even a year for this one to be done. I feel so blessed for how smooth everything us running. And just can thank God for it. And you guys for the moral support and the information. And to every question that has been answered.

Interview Was Scheduled
On March 26, 2019, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number IOE92xxxxxxxx. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
-
Contact the embassy they prob gonna tell you its processing and you will need to file a waiver.
-
She was given a address on a business card after the interview to send the documents requested on the 221g form (My birth certificate and another document)I sent the documents to her and she sent it to the address the embassy provided, by the postal service, before I was able to tell her to put the slip inside. I did the petition for her only thing she did was go to the interview and send the docs. It was a mistake but I dont know whats gonna happen now.

Just found this thread! Would someone mind adding me? I'm pleasantly surprised how fast the N400 process is so far compared to I-751 which took me 1.5 years!
N400 Filing Date: 2/13/19 (Online)
NOA1: 2/15/19
Biometrics: 3/4/19
Interview: JUST GOT THE LETTER TODAY! Scheduled for 4/15/19
Field Office: Charleston, SC
wow thats pretty awesome good luck!!!!!
-
I think if they needed originals it would say it on the 221g letter but send the original and be safe.
-
anybody knows? I have search cant find info anywhere.

Long story short, My mother had a interview, CO kept passport and was given a 221g requesting for my birth certificate. I sent the birth certificate to my mother and she sent it right away to the US Embassy before I got to tell her to include the 221g letter. My question is will the embassy still process it and figure it out or should I resend the documents including the 221g letter. Its been 2 weeks since the postal service delivered the documents. Im afraid this will cause issues.
