But don't you get it? These ARE extenuating circumstances, OP is Canadian, and has legally studied, worked and visited the US before... Plus, he's been waiting for 7 months! 7 MONTHS! Never mind that he already has EAD and AP, he wants his green card, and he wants it NOW!
And don't you get that he's not doing this for himself? He's doing this for the thousands waiting around the world. He is fighting the good fight for all of us. He is Ghandi, MLK, the Dalai Lama, and Mother Teresa all in one, fighting against the injustice that are USCIS processing times. Everybody is disagreeing with him because he's an iconoclast, he's a Steve Jobs, a Bill Gates; he's here to change the world for better. You just won't get it.

Lol so I went from worst to second worse, undoubtedly the amigo influx plays a part on the delay. What you said of case load to offices that are caught up is a great idea. I passed all the initial tests with Phoenix PD, and now I’m stuck due to the lack of citizenship 😩. Keep me posted on your journey brother, I will let you know how the infopass appointment went.

I hear ya... look at my timeline man!
I am filing mine next month which will force through my recently filed second I-751 after the first was denied.
You won't receive a denial for filing your N-400 with a pending I-751. The guy was talking out of his hoop - don't worry about it.
I am beginning to suspect that USCIS is part staffed by rejected mcdonalds and DMV applicants, the standard is so low.

This is not for green card holders traveling outside the USA. It's only for 7 countries, citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. Pretty much everywhere that cheered as the trade towers collapsed. Me and my wife are currently back in Israel for work and not worried about this at all. Israel is in the middle east, Egypt, and Jordan. All 3 visa's in my wife's passport and no issues.
