  1. Hi everyone, we are about to file for adjustment of status. I was wondering if we still need to include i-693? I have done my medical at st lukes late november 2013. My vaccination record says: vaccine history incomplete, applicant may be eligible for blanket waivers because vaccinations not medically appropriate as indicated above

  2. Hi everyone! My poe is san francisco, will be married march2. I was just wondering if I will have any concerns leaving california, we plan to have our honeymoon a day after the wedding in hawaii. Has anyone done this before? Thanks in advance for your replies.

  3. I have looked through the required documents needed for my fiance K-1 visa and no where does it state that a CENOMAR nor an NBI clearance is needed. Why is that or where is that requirement stated?

Both are important requirements needed to be brought by the K1 beneficiary to his/her interview at US Embassy Manila.

  4. Can anyone verify for me with the Filipino passport, is the passport book number the same as the passport number? I was pretty sure it is, but I'm reading other posts that I found doing a search and seeing that it seems to vary from country to country so I wanted to make sure and no assume too much.

As far as I know PH Passports have passport numbers only, no passport book number

  5. I had my interview last Monday, January 6 2014 and I was approved. My interview went smoothly with the Filipino consul and American consul but until now my status on ceac website didn't change. It is still READY (for interview) and not READY (case is open). It's been 7 days since I had my interview.I was just wondering and a bit worried because my friend had her interview on a later date and her ceac status changed to ready (case is open) the following day, i know its a case to case basis. The date of my ceac status is the only one being updated.. i know my documents were complete otherwise they gave me the 221 g , but they didnt. Anyone who experienced the same? Than you.

    Hi icedblu15,

It took me a while to get issued too & I can understand how you are feeling. Same case as you with no 221g, my interview was last Jan 2 & I got issued only today. I have a feeling that you will also get issued soon, just keep the faith! God bless!

This is going to be a LONG one! hahaha!

Well, my news isn't so bad. I did not get approved YET--I got a 221g. That means i will be approved as soon as they receive my oroginal AOS.

My AOS got lost in transit between NVC and the embassy--I do not know how they lost it. NVC confirmed they received and sent it.... I only had with me photocopies. So I submitted that and they accepted--however, i am required to send in the one with original signature.

So piece of advice--have ORIGINAL back-ups. photocopies wont do any good. you are just wasting paper. THEY don't accept photocopies anymore.

    Welcome to the group CnYforever!

Thanks! I am cool...i got a 221g though...but I am happy with it anyhow because I still get approved.

Thank you! The interview wasn't so bad. It was easy breezy!

    Hi RedPepper,

Thanks so much for the very useful CFO advice, I'll be going there hopefully next week. I hope you get approved soon. God bless you! luv.gif

Thank you & good luck to you. Yes God bless all January interviewees luv.gif

Wow! Congratulations! A little bit more and you are almost homerun--then another journey begins!

Thank you! Actually I am stil a bit confused with the CFO-PDOS--I think i missed some information on where to get it--I intend to have it this Monday and do not want to be at the wrong place. No wonder--they have 3 different locations on the CFO map on their website, now I do not know where to go first. Where to take the PDOS Peer Counseling...geez...hehehe

Oo nga, konting tiis na lang. Nag-PDOS ka na ba?

    QUESTION:

For those who will be taking the CFO-PDOS earlier before they get there visa--do they have a new process now? I am having it on Monday, Jan 6, right before my interview--I read a lot that people do not go directy to CFO but somewhere else to have their counseling, before they go to CFO to register...can anyone tell me how they did it? I was planning on going to CFO directly at dawn on Monday--suddenly I read somewhere I think my plan is a mistake. lol I need to confirm before heading there then...Will appreciate your advice! Thanks!

I am praying that my visa gets issued soon! God bless you & good luck on your interview luv.gif
