  1. Hi Guys,

I am joining this forum late. I filed my husbands AOS on June 09th our NOA 1 has a date of June 11th, 2014. We received his biometrics letter a few days later his appointment is scheduled for Monday 7th July, 2014. We tried to do a walk-in at Forth Worth ASC and it was unsuccessful they will not process you until your actual appointment date. I am not able to check our case status online it says case status not found. So I am just going through the motions I cannot wait for this to be over! We live 2 hours away from Froth Worth so we will have to drive all the way back on Monday.

  2. Hello Banjoruth, it can be very hectic putting the k 1 papers together and you may miss out something and get a RFE which makes the process even longer. I used rapid visa they did all the work i only provided the information. I paid them 325 total and I was approved in 30 days no issue. Lawyers like to take your money and they are not needed. Rapid visa offers the same coaching for the interview and they have a 2/7 support system give them a try they are way cheaper than a lawyer and they do the same job.

  3. The medical is not as bad as it sounds. my fiancee had his medical last week Monday i was there with him pretty easy process. They test your blood for syphilis give you the shots you don't have ensure u take your shots card with you and have 3 passport size photos. They will take a chest xray and take a physical look at your body. Please try to d the medical two days in advance of interview results are collected the day following the medical. I don't think you need to get nervous at all. All the best.

  4. Hello aplummerjr,

It depends on the embassy I heard that and got concerned and I contacted the US embassy in Barbados where my fiancee will have his interview in a few weeks and they said i could come along with him. My advice to your friend is to contact the Embassy directly and verify that is correct. Some embassies allow it some don't.

    Good Luck!

  5. My fiancee has already sent back packet 3 and we are waiting for the Consulate to schedule an interview date hopefully sometime this week. My question is in regards to the 1-34. I made a total of 24, 000 for the tax year 2013 so I have exceeded the 125% I just received my W-2 I have no kids and I file as a single person. I will be filing my tax return this coming week so we can present it at the interview. I have a job letter and everything to show proof of employment. My concern is that my job is performing major cuts and so they are firing individuals I wanted to know if I happen to be cut before the interview if this will cause my fiancees visa to be denied and if would i have to correct the 1-34 or leave it as it is. Help me please I am really worried.

  6. Jess&Mohamed I know exactly how you feel. From your timeline I see that you filed at the Texas Service Center they have not approved any October filers as yet. All these October approvals are coming from CSC. I checked the processing trends and they are working on those who filed in the last week of September at the Texas Service Center. Hopefully you will get a response by the end of this week or early next week. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=2&sortby=2 Check this link out maybe it will help.
