Yes!! My AOS fee changed to N/A as well!! However dont have time to call the NVC today, hopefully this means a CC though :D I am so happy!!

My husband sent the marriage certificate issued by nadra, nikah nama and its english translation, 2 photos, passport copy, police certificate and his birth certificate.all originals. N now we r jus hoping we dont get any checklist about the documents..

Mine was delivered on June 10th and scanned on 13th. I don't expect any activity on my case until the week of July 14th.

I received a false checklist on 2nd july about IV documents not being sent to NVC, when our documents were delivered at NVC on june 11..does anyone know how long ill have to wait for case complete from here on? There is no reason they tell you, it could be simply because they subject people with certain names which is frankly an awful practice in this age of technology.

This process is very inhumane to say the least. If you want to do AP than sure start on it when we file application and it can run in the background but their process freezes the whole application. My case was F2A and my priority dates have retrogressed now. Luckily I became citizen otherwise I was sure to loose the window that got opened in F2A category. Still I am dealing with much slower NVC which was much faster 6 months back.

I went through all my emails to locate all the correct dates, added them in signature, soon ill put them up in timeline aswell

That must be a false checklist for the IV package that have received but not opened or reviewed yet.

Do call NVC to find out if your AOS was accepted. Yes you have to be on hold for ever. Early evenings (from here in California) which is late evning in the East Coast, worked great for me.

From the date your AOS package was received at NVC it seems it must have been approved already. But you can only tell for sure by asking them.

Actually, your case should be completed any day now. So keep calling.

Sounds like a false checklist to me. If you sent your AOS and IV invoices on different days, they review them in the order received, so if the AOS was sent it first, they review it first. They can see that more documents are waiting to be reviewed but they won't look at what they are so instead they send a checklist asking you to send them in. If you already did then you've completed all the actions on the checklist already, hence the false checklist.

You should go to your settings and add a signature. From here you can add in a timeline which will show on every post.

It says civil documents of the applicant, after receiving those they will review his immigrant visa application, but we already sent them all the civil documents.

I don't know what supporting documents are there for DS260..there is for IV and AOS however. You should call them about AOS if it is approved, no other way of telling.

Also if can you add signature with the same info of timeline you posted, will be easy for you and useful for others.

I cant remember all the dates but the ones i can remember, ill mention them below

Priority date: June 6 2013

NAO2: dec 19 2013

case number assigned: april 2014

AOS package received at NVC: May 23 2014

DS 260 submitted online: June 10 2014

IV package received at NVC: june 11 2014

My question is that i have received an email from NVC saying that they have reviewed our case and we need to them documents supporting DS260. But we have already sent them the documents. Is it a false checklist? If it is, then what do i need to do about it? Do i have to call them?

Secondly, i have not received any checklist regarding our AOS package, does that mean it was approved? I only called NVC once to get our case number n i had to wait for more than hour over the phone, so being hesitant to call them again.

Any help will be appreciated

Guys in the IV package the original and it's copies are reuqired. So do the copies have to be attested as well? My originals are already certified by the ministry of foreign affairs over here.

You can only find out scan date by calling. I can't be bothered calling to find out when mine was scanned just yet, so I am just adding 4 business days. I think the average is about 2-4 business days to scan. When it gets closer to my 30 days, I will likely ring to get my actual scan date so I can start planning when to call to check on my case.

How to find out when our packages were scanned? I just know when they were delivered, but i dont know when they were scanned in their system.

The NVC received our AOS package on 21st may..its going to be almost a month in couple of days..we have not received any checklist or any email regarding AOS package so far..im reading here..everyones getting something..?..should i be worried??

And we sent our DS 260 online form n supporting documents..they received the documents on 12 june 2014..im reading on some posts that it will take them 30 days to review the package..30 days starting from when they received our package??
