  1. Then you should be fine. If anything, it shows you know the rules and follow them. And CBP will see when you left the US after entering on the K-1. Just bring that proof of ties to your home country and you should be fine.

thank you☺ been in secondary once cuz they thought i visit to often and that was no fun!! and i def dont want to do that with a 2 year old after 15 h trip?

  2. You shouldn't have any problems visiting. I've visited about 18 times during our relationship, always flying in alone to visit my husband, and have never once been asked to show any ties to my home country. But better safe than sorry, so every time I've flown over, I have brought a letter from my employer in English, stating I am employed full time and what date I'm expected to return to work, and a letter from my bank in English, stating I have a home loan with them and that I own my own home. I guess if you rent, try getting a letter in English from your landlord. That should be enough. But yes, the proof of ties to your home country needs to be in English.

Good luck and enjoy your vacation.

  4. Do you book your own interview in stockholm or are you assigned a date? How does this work out with medical scheduling?

    Hi

When the embassy in Stockholm get your approved petition they send you a checklist to your email with all info. You book your medical yourself with one of the dr on the embassy list. When you have Done all they ask for in the checklist you book your interview, there is links to everything you need in the checklist.

    Good luck

  5. Dear Mikenmalin,

Thanks for taking the time to reply, im currently in Kosovo with my wife and daughter, we do have the marriage certificate and all that we got married back in 2012. I was wondering what can i do while im here and what steps to take and hope to get the passport for my daughter same time my wife does.

Book a interview at once then you take your daughter to embassy with all papers. Make sure you read all info and instructions. You need 2 American size passport photo. And proof u are American citizen and other thing... Better you go to embassy since you are the American citizen.

  6. U need to apply for a report of birth, passport and social security number for your baby. All information is on us embassy website. There is quite many rules on this. If your wife is in her home country you need to fill out documents in front of a notary and then send all papers to her and she need to book appointment on the us embassy in her country where she bring all papers. You should find all info and links to documents on embassy website. You can also email them and ask. I'm in the process of that as we speak:) but we are not yet married. You need to hurry up a bit since they won't process anything until your wife had the interview. Then it takes 2-4 weeks for your baby to get passport.

    Good luck

  7. Well, the immigrant visa and USC line is not long so that shouldn't be a problem. If you are standing in a long line full of Swedes then you've probably queued in the non-immigrant line for visitor and student visas. If you are confused about it just shout to the guard when he comes out "is this the right places to stand for immigrant and K1 visas?" Is your daughter a USC?

I think it took 45 minutes or so for us. Mind you, this was 14 months ago, but the process is pretty painless.

Yes my daughter has claim on us citizenship so she need passport because they will not issue her a visa so need another interview for that. But got them on same day so I don't have to travel to Stockholm twice:)

  8. I would call. They migth tell you it has already been sent to the embassy. The letter they send you take couple weeks to get to your home, so good chance they arleady sent it.

They better cuz I got my NOA2 on 20th and planning to start calling on Monday, the 30th. lol.

Haha.. Heard it could take some time between California and NVC.. I hope you are right!

    Good luck

  9. And - Yahoooooo!!! - the paper NOA-1 has been received today on June 14th!!!!

    Dated by June 9th.

I have immediately checked the receipt # at USCIS website and read:

On June 13, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

Now I have some questions, guys.

    1. Are they going to send me another letter with that Alien # for my fiance'?

    2. How can I have my timeline show under my posts? I have filled it out in my profile, but it doesn't show yet.

They do not send u the alien#, dont know if u get it on noa2 or something.

Go to ur settings, on left side, choose signature and write your timeline there.

    Good luck:)

  10. I'm so happy! Been a very long journey this far so just the best feeling that things finally moving. We started this in November last year but problems with documents we forgot and they didn't tell us all papers they needed so every time we called they said a new thing then they misplaced our petition so we had to send it in again. And we have a newborn baby so hopefully soon we can all be togheter:)

Where in AZ do you live?
