We were married Sept 1 2012. I lost my job in Germany and bounced around Italy. Then after DOMA was overturned we decided it was time to return to the USA. We married again 08/24/2013 in Maryland to make it legal here. That was a big mistake. We should have just applied for a K-1 Visa and we'd probably be done already.
