i guess she should be fine, the IRS returns are made from the last pay-stubs of the year, consequently, your pay-stub should show your annual income. Additionally, you should tell her to convince the interviewer, and show that your relationship is genuine, that she truly loves you. She will be fine. Good Luck on your Journey. God Bless

Hello everyone,
First of all, let me thank you for being here and help. Ok, I brought my fiancee here couples of years ago, and everything is going great. We have one adorable daughter and so far life is being good (nothing major though). She wanted me to bring her mother here, but our finance is not in good shape. I'm the only one bringing income, and I tried to reason her, but she wouldn't understand, she wants her in the states right now. I sent all the necessary documents to the embassy for my mother in law visa application. She did obtain the visa (B1/B2 Visa) on October the 13th 2015. Now we need to buy a ticket that cost around $1500, money I don't have. I want to use our tax refund( February 2016) money to book her a ticket. I'm wondering how long she has before coming to the states? Thank you for your time.

Hello Dear VJers,
My fiancee arrived in the US on March 3rd after filing for K1. After 2 weeks, we went to the SSA to require a SSCard and we were told that we need a marriage certificate. We then waited couple months and got the certificate done after a short ceremony at the local Justice Center. We went back to SSA and they said that we need I-94 along with the Marriage Certificate in order to apply for the SSCard. We went to the Govn Center and they gave us this website (www.cbp.gov/I-94) to retrieve her I-94 number and print out the I-94 card. We rushed on the website and couldn't find any of her credentials. Could you please help us? Any suggestions will be really really appreciate!!!
Thank you and Good Luck to all of you.
God Bless

Hello Everyone,
My fiancee arrived in the US a month ago through K1 and we are wondering if we should apply for the Social Security card or get married. She doesn't have I-94 in her passport. We want her to start something asap, So we need some advices in this matter. Another option is to apply for I-765. Any reply will be appreciate.

I'm not sure why you think that the guy will be a danger to her. That's for her to figure out at the first place. Why you spent $$$ and time visiting him and his family and decided to not marry him later on??? What happened? Why you change your mind? Think abt him leaving his family and life behind for you, because you have promised him "AMERICA" then suddenly you let him down. Take a second to put yourself in his shoes. That's being mean, and as human being we are not supposed to treat each other like that. At least, give the guy an opportunity to have some legal document before letting him go, so he can get a job and a chance to meet someone else and start a new life.
Anyway,I might not have the best answer, but i think you are not playing fair. Maybe there are facts that we are missing and the other side of the story that he will not be able to tell us, therefore my judgement will be biased. And beside, i don't know your age, but this remind me my teenage years, where we were stupid and picky, and egoist, and narcissistic and Hitlerstic ( made up) and ,,,,,,,
.
Good luck with your life by destroying other people's.

I'm sending out this note to everyone who has helped us in our journey thus far. We had the visa on January the 16th, and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful team. The actual interview ( on 1/7/14) went pretty well, and the visa was issued the next day when i checked on CEAC website, However, she had to wait until January 16th to go get her passport along with the visa.
Now that we have passed the difficult part thanks to you and to the Almighty God, we can start the second part of our journey once she gets to the US.
Once again thank you so much. May God help couple in their journey.

Hello VJers,
First of all, let me thank you all for the help that you have been providing. God will bless each one of you.
Here is my concern: My I129F application has been sent to the embassy, I called NVC and the lady told me to call the embassy to check if they have received it. Ok now, I'm wondering when should I complete the DS 160 form on CEAC website? I meant to say at what point of the process i should complete the DS 160 form. Any feedback/ideas would be very appreciated.
Once again, Thank you for your helps.

Congratz to you, and May God Bless both of you.

My fiancee told me that i couldn't send her scanned documents for the interview, and I'm all confused. It's possible to send scanned documents to her for the interview or should I mail them to her. We don't know if the consulate will require original documents, and it might take a month or weeks before she receives the documents. Has someone already sent scanned documents for an interview before?
N.B. I have included all the copies in the actual I-129F application months earlier, so the consulate should have the same documents.
Thank you for your help and may God helps all of us.

i really wanna help you and tell you good news, but i'm not sure that his insurance or SS would cover both of you. Is the only and only one able to benefit from that. However, i would suggest you to contact an attorney here in the US. Good luck on your journey.

Hi VJers,
I'm in the process for a K1 visa for my fiancee, and right now we have been approved
. I sent the I129F application with all the support for I134 ( Affidavit of Support), i meant, my pay-stubs, my employer's letters ( cuz i have 2 jobs), my tax returns for the last 2 years. My concern is that should i have to send recent pay-stubs or updated I134 to my fiancee or the ones in the package will be enough for the interview.
Thank you and May God Help everyone of you on their respective Immigration Journey.

in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas

YES you are right. Because of the change of your status, you are not longer a visitor, but a spouse of US Citizen. K-3 is appropriate in your case. Good LUCK
