Thank u maabish...no I always received regular copy paste AP emails from them...only once in my email reply they asked for new medical, photos, and ds 230 in october....they didnt even reply my last 2 emails sent in feb...

My dear friends and all VJ members,

Alhamdulillah, my husband got his visa issued finally...mashaAllah...i still can't believe it....OMG...when I saw the word issued the first time, my heart skipped a beat...i started crying and then I was laughing...like a crazy person...i m still so over-whelmed...

My husband got his updates on February 11,14,17,21, and finally 25th... it showed AP first, and then after few minutes it changed to issued...

Few hours before that my husband received a call from the embassy... they said that since his passport and medical are expiring soon, they can get him a Visa now but only on the condition that if he promises to enter USA before the 18th of March... my husband asked what if he wants to stay till the end of March since his brother's family would be visiting; and they said that then he will have to renew all documents and it could take 3 to 6 months before his turn comes again... so obviously my husband said yes I want the visa now.... so guys now he has only 2 weeks and so many things to do...

Carolyn, you were right when you said that things move very fast when it says issued...

my dear friends, I am praying for all of you to get out of this AP soon...inshaAllah... and my special prayers for those who have bean waiting since 1 or 2 or more years... specially EAbbas, Aisha,fatima/mohsin,faisal213, soccer player, maabish,A& F, and sorry if I m forgetting any names...my belief is that all of you will get your visas within 3 to 6 months inshaAllah...just keep praying to Allah

today is our 3rd marriage anniversary and we spend only 2 months and 4 days together after our marriage .I am very upset today missing him alot. Allah knows when this Ap will over.

Our marriage is for more than 2 years and 8 months and we spent 9 month together...first three months we spent in dubai while I was working there as HR manager at time of our marriage and then I came to pakistan in 2012 and my wife came second time from US and spent 3 months together but unfortunately had to leave for bad circumstances of politics here in pakistan as well as bad threats and risks for US citizens and now she came in Nov. 2013 and till today we are together...so it is our 10 month going on and I beleive our marriage is not for US immigration...it is to live together forever no matter it's US, UAE or Pakistan. So I get suprised some times when people tell they spent only few days or months together after marriage and I find it so strange how come people have such patience.

i am in AP for last 7 months and 8th is going on but as soon as we got to know that AP may take longer time and realized this we decided to be together and hence I called my wife back to Pakistan immediately and now we are together for last 4 months. it's her 2nd visit to Pakistan and 3rd visit at all. we celebrated our birthdays together, new year together, valentines together, 2 Eids together, 2 Ramadan months together...I have written this all for all the married people to decide better for themselves and stop waiting impatiently for visa. Our marriages are to live for our spouses not for visa and this is my advise to all if you START thinking like us your visa tensions will be over...thanks and regards ALI & SANDRA

It was really nice reading your post. I agree with u, but let me tell u some real facts. I cant say that about all the people but 90% of us in AP r not with their spouses bcoz they have some responsibilities due to which we cant go to pakistan or any other place to stay for more than few wks mnths at a time...when we got married, my husband respected me & appreciated me for that. If it was in my hands, I would never stay away from him for even a day.

Our third wedding anniversary is approaching masha'Allah....and the total days that we have spent together are hardly 2 months altogether and those were during my 3 trips to Pakistan...the 4th trip i m not counting coz we only met 2times with our families before our wedding n then i went back to USA....we got married in our 2nd trip...

Oh God!!! 3 yrs & only 2 mnths together

Why dont we all (married couples) write here our total # of days spent together with our spouses & mention how many yrs of marriage we have...plz ....all of u guys share...just curious

You should email the embassy asap and inquire...also call NVC...i just chkd ur timeline...i m confused to see why did u send I-130 after 2.5 yrs of marraige...sorry its personal i know...but if u dont mind sharing...

Congratulations to you. When you have waited in AP a long time it is a shock to finally see issued. My husband is here in the USA with me now and after so many years of waiting we still can't believe we are together.

Thanks for ur good wishes...our case updated 8 or 9 times in Nov as medical was expiring and we submitted our docs....then on Dec 2 and 31 (due to email reply)....then Feb 11, 14 and 19th.

Hey guys !! Just got an update(Feb 19) on its own MashaAllah !!! Plz pray for me...

my case didnt update since 12 feb... it stopped... yesterday i got off from job and was thinking to check status once i get home... but it was tradegic night... i got in to accident and my whole car was totaled... i got a head injury with 8 stiches..police said i was lucky that i survived the crash.....please pray for me and wife these are the hard moments for me and my wife... please pray that she get approved soon IN SHA ALLAH

Ohhh I m sooo sorrryyy dear if i hurt ur feelings...but actually at that time i was thinking of ppl who hav been in AP for more than 2 yrs...but i really pray for u, myself nd everyone over here in AP...we can all feel each others' pain...

i guess specially for married couples life is almost stopped or on hold....but i m sure if we all support each other morally, we ll come out of this AP soon inshaAllah in a better way...just stay strong and keep away from depression...although at times i lose my patience and burst into tears...but only infront of my Allah....thanku every1 for ur support here ...
