On November 21, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

There was an approval on the 15th for a July filer. The approval was from NBC.
No, he was not a DCF nor an expedite. Just a regular filer.
So it sounds like the NBC is approving petitions now

I received a response from my congressman...I requested an expedite also, and they replied back to me and enclosed a letter from USCIS...this letter says that they have requested my husbands file, and as soon as she has this..it will be handed to the expedite team for review....the congressmans office says since our file is at NBC .....it takes 30 days to get approval or denial....Hope this helps.

Wow, not much action from us in the July forums huh:(
All months for 2013 are on page 1 and we've migrated already to page 6 lol.
But there is some serious posting going on in the early months of the year... good luck to all and stay strong. I know I'm personally struggling with the long process and yet compared to those from Feb/March/April, we haven't waited long.

5/9/13 Mailed the Form I-130 package
5/14/13 Received email notification that my Form I-130 packaged was accepted
Received hard copy of Form I-797C a few days later after the email notification
I am still waiting on NOA2.......................................
I have called USCIS customer service a few times. The response was different each time I call. I have spoken to tier2 a few times. Each of the tier2's response about the Form I-130 processing time frame was different. One of them even told me that they are waiting to make a decision on my case and should expect a response five months from the date I filed the petition. I have been to an info pass appointment. With a funny smile, told me to come back if I did not hear anything from USCIS within three to six months. I went to my Senator's office to see if any help can be rendered and off the bat was told that it is taking USCIS twelve months to process Form I-130. I still completed the release form just in case if she decides to help when she does not have much much to do. I was told that an inquiry will be sent to USCIS to see if my case is at the right place. I am thinking of going to another Senator's office for help.
The Form I-797C said my Form I-130 package is at Overland Park, KS. Per info pass appointment and one of tier2 I spoke to, my case is at Lee Summit, Missouri. Where exactly is my Form I-130 package? I prepared the Form I-130 package myself.
I have been on this forum and read about the slow down of Form I-130 process. Why is it taking USCIS so long to to process Form I-130? I don't know what it is and not here to tell USCIS how to do there job. USCIS was doing so well prior to this slow down and all off a sudden went backwards. A family member petitioned for another family member and it took USCIS less than five months to approve it even with RFE.
I included Form 864, letter of employment, W-2 statements and tax returns with my Form 1-130 package? Do you think it will slow my case down? I spoke to my wife briefly before meeting her for the first time in December of 2012. A family friend introduced us. I knew she was the one and asked her to marry me. She said yes after two days. I went back home in March of 2013 for the traditional wedding. I speak to my wife everyday and can't wait for her to be with me.
I wish all Form I-130 filers good luck and speedy approvals.

No new code , your case will be forwarding to NVC ( National Visa Center ) and get new case number !

Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Progress Reports to USCIS Service Centers forum; topic is about corresponding letters with service centers on USCIS case receipt numbers and not a case status update.

MSC is the National Benefits Center. Formerly called Missouri Service Center- hence the MSC code.
There are TWO National Benefits Center and they have the same, MSC, code- NBC in Lee's Summit, Missouri and NBC in Overland Park, KS.

Missouri Service Center

TSC - Texas Service Center

You are all correct....if you're tracking, the rec'd date is the date your petition is entered in the system. The location where it was sent to is on the bottom left of the I-797c (aka NOA1) you receive back from the NBC. Typical turn around time from NOA1 to NOA2 is a long wait, appears to be btwn 4-6 mths. I-130 processing for CR1's has sky rocketed to up to 11-12mths barring no RFE's for missing documents. Majority of I-130's being processed now appear to be Jan/Feb petitions. The volumes have been so high they are just starting to transfer backlogs out to the other processing centers but havent yet started to see posts on transfer notices coming out yet. I-130s do not get transferred out of the NBC's to "local offices". There are thousands and thousands of us out here from literally every part of the world waiting thru the process. Certainly not meaning to be a bummer here, just wanting to share what I know is happening. Hang in there everyone...there have been folks out there who have gotten all the way through the first long process and then give up because they dont want to wait anymore......don't give up!! Stay plugged in to VJ .... we're all each other's companions in the line. Good to keep posting updates to your timelines, helps keep everyone happy to know when things move along. For you new filers, send everything (copied) with your petition (bc's, etc) so they don't hold your app to wait for you to send that in. Less is not more in this process. Good luck to everyone.......DON'T GIVE UP!!
