Wowowow, we're so happy to hear your exciting news! What a blessed time. May God bless you both continually!

Well, we have a lawyer, a great option and we are glad to have the added support, advice and weight of evidence he gives to our case so we do recommend a good lawyer. But I do not think having a lawyer will speed up the process of getting a green card. Once the paperwork is in the system, it's a matter of waiting and really there is nothing a lawyer can do to speed up the wait. :/

Wow, that's so wonderful. All we can say is THANK YOU JESUS!! So happy for you both. This is such encouraging news for the rest of us too! Our paperwork is also at NSC, but priority date is October. Anyhow. thanks so much it is great to see your joy!! Makes me happy today!

Pretty sure you can move anywhere during the process but you may keep in mind... what we were told when looking into this option was that when the time comes for interview. The US embassy in the country you're going may not work with you and therefore you might have to make a trip back to beneficiaries country. If this happens to be the case and you can swing all the moving around financially I don't see why it should be a problem.
It's great to look at options.

Us too. Ghana and US are home for us. We're going through the Spouse visa process currently too... waiting.
Blessings for your journey too.

Just a positive word for using a lawyer. After adding up our options we chose to use an immigration lawyer and are very happy we have. True, while they cannot speed up a backlogged government system, we are finding the added support of our lawyer well worth the cost, it has taken a lot of stress off of ourselves and our lawyer is very knowledgeable, efficient and always responds in a very timely way.

Just saw your post and you both are in our prayers. I'm sure it must be an overwhelming time, a time of sadness for your Mum, excitement and suspense with this interview, I am recalling the words in Psalms that say, "When my heart is overwhelmed within me lead me to the Rock that is Higher than I!" As you move towards this day, remember that all things are possible with Papa God and He truly does make all things beautiful and perfect in His time. Praying that this coming interview will be graced with the presence of Jesus, the power of Holy Spirit and the love of God.
He's brought you two this far and He will lead you safely to the same home.

Congratulations and God is so good. You both are very blessed and this is such an encouragement to those of us still in the waiting season.
Just a quick question if you don't mind. How did you go about collecting your whatsapp conversations? Is there a way to print them somehow? Thanks. And again WOW, CONGRATS!!

We were told that to file as single is perfectly fine, as there is no legal or possible way to file married without having beneficiary's SSN or ITIN number.
