Eeeeee... August 4 scan date. Just called and as of today, case COMPLETE!!

I know how bad u must be feeling believe me but don't let them bring you down! Just remind yourself it must be over at one point I know it's hard to be positive while dealing with their stupid system. But it will be over hopefully sooner than you think

I'll find out my interview date possibly this Thursday or Friday. If not, next Monday or Tuesday.

I am speechless after reading your post. How is this possible?!?! Holding a good thought for you and for a speedy CC. Stay strong and dont give up faith that things will work out at the end, even after a delay. . I try to type something to console you and there is just Nothing I can say that will make sense in light of what is happening with you, NVC, with all of us and NVC.Praying we are all out of this hell hole very soon.
I was at the airport yesterday meeting my in-laws, who came to visit us for a month. We waited for about an hour and I had a chance to people watch. I watched the eyes, and happy faces, and the smiles of people seeing their loved ones, and I couldnt help it but get teary eyed. This too will happen to all of us very soon: we will take a rush trip to the airport to pick up our husbands, wives, mothers, and maybe just maybe the joy we feel while hugging them for a first time will heal the pain we feel now

Just so you guys know where NVC is i had a Case Complete on Friday Sept.19. Scan date July 29. Found out this morning.

Someone on facebook had his AOS package reviewed and accepted, scan date July 29. Hopefuly NVC might finish up with July packages this week or latest on Monday. Fingers crossed.

Yeah Tuesday was flooded with CC, Wednesday was quiet. Let's hope Thursday and Friday will be flooded with lots of CC.

It took me 4 months and 17 days to get a CC! But... I didn't even get a single checklist!
If I had gotten a checklist, it'd have taken me over 6 months to get a CC! It'd have been a crime!

Scan date: July 25th. AOS changed to "N/A" and called NVC to confirm it.

NVC is a complete waste of time and resources. NVC stage is not suppose to be in existence. Uscis should approve petition and send it to the embassy and then the beneficiary will come to the interview with all the supporting documents and fees.
OR
CR-1/IR-1 should be processed like K-1 visas, the petition should just pass thru NVC like K-1 visa without submitting any documents to NVC.

Today I am so thankful. My expedite request was APPROVED! It took 10 calendar days from when I submitted the request until the embassy agreed to expedite. All of my documents are at NVC as of Aug. 22. My husband has a heart condition and I didn't think I could request an expedite because it's not "life or death".

Thanks! But...I'm not sure if NVC is actually speeding up. I wouldn't call it "speeding up", but rather "finally woke up".
NVC was indeed processing cases faster this week compared to the previous two weeks.
There was almost no activity at the NVC office from Aug 25th to Sept 3rd.

Finally found wifi good enough to make a Skype call to NVC and confirmed our case is complete as of yesterday (last scan 7/22).
No interview date yet. I think we probably missed an October interview by a day or two max.

I hope by the end of next week NVC starts working on August packages. I miss the days when people used to be in and out of NVC in less than a month. Stay positive and remember this will not last forever. Good luck everyone and may god keep the checklists away from all of us
