Good Day Everyone. I am about to file for removal of condition on my GC but i am not sure where to start cos my wife and i decided not to hire a lawyer to save some money. Not sure what form to fill and the requirements.. I am still happily married and we have joint bank account in both our names and also other bills. I am here to seek advise on how to proceed with the filling and i will appreciate any answer on the matter.. Thanks and God Bless

Nigeriaorburst....you say Nigerians are debating of another way to commit fraud? Crime is everywhere..even here in America. There are alot of crimes and fraud yet no one is labelling Americans of been fraudulent..there r good and bad ppl everywhere so pls stop labeling Nigerians as been fraudulent.

I was in the same situation.. it might take 2 to 3 months for the file to be transferred to lagos embassy..notting to worry about.

We dated for 2 years before we got married..when she visited me in Nigeria she ate Nigerian food and she liked it..I live in Nebraska and it's very cold outside that's why I can't cook outside cos of the weather..I feel she is insecured and it really bothers me..about the language..she said her mum doest like when I talk to my parents with my native language cos they feel we talk about them..which doesn't make any sense to me. I don't have any friends here in Nebraska and I speak English all the time except wen my family calls from Nigeria. And I also explain to her what I discuss with my family each time they call

I never talked bad things about her with my family..i just talk about life in general with my family just yo keep in touch...I have been here in America for 5 months and I have only cooked Nigerian food once and she is mad..

My wife is mad at me cos I cooked Nigerian food and she says it smells disgusting and she is also mad at me when my family call from Nigeria and we speak igbo(my native language) . Does anyone have such experience?

Hi everyone...Pls I just wanna know if anyone has experienced what am going through..i came to America on a k1 visa in November..i got married and I have filled for the adjustment of status in january..its 3 months since I filled and I had did the biometrics and I just got the letter to appear for an interview..my question is...how much longer do I have to wait after the interview to get my green card so that I can start working. The whole process and life in America has been quite an experience..pls your answers are highly appreciated..God blesd

They test for syphilis and a heart xray...but they will ask you verbally if u some weed. If you say no..they not gonna test you for drugs. But u gotta tell ur cousin to stop smoking weed asap for his own good..good luck

In Lagos Nigeria. As long as you tell the doctors that you haven't used marijuana they will not test you for drugs. But syphilis test us a most.

Thanks everyone for your advise and support. It means a lot to me. I will start looking for where I can volunteer to work at least I can go out from the house and meet new people and make friends too. Staying in the house all alone makes me feel like am in the jail. My wife and I live alone, we don't have any pets or kids too so it's very hard for me to deal with. She will help me to register in a gym this weekend. Once ur petition has been approved and sent to nvc. Just wait till they sent ur file to usa embassy in irleand then you can request they tranfer the file to usa embassy in brazil. Its acceptable cos I did mine dsame way. Good luck

It was a long interview section. The CO was intrested to know how weLl I know my finacee. Questions he ask me.. Who petitioned for u? Where does ur fiancee live? What is d name of her mum? Where did u meet? And so on. But surprisinly the CO did not ask me my fiancee age or my age. D age diffrence was not metioned they where more intrested on how well I knw my fiancee. But after d long interview he gave me visa collection form to collect my visa in 5working days. Btw they where issuing visa to all immigrant but kept denying non-immigrant visa. The Co at the usel are very. Nice.

Went for interview today at theus embassy in lagos! Interview lastest for about an hour but than God at the end I was approved and the CO gave me a letter where to pick up my passpost in 5 working days! Thank God am so happy

do I need ds230form for k1? I got a form from the lawyer but according to d instruction from d embassy o only need ds156 and ds156k. Any sugestion? My interview is 7am nigerian time tommorow
