we just called NVC the other day, they said it could take up to six weeks
-
it's not listed on the package list, is there any others you need to bring aside from the list?
Are you submitting the I-129F or going to the interview?
-
NBI clearance will be submitted by the beneficiary on the interiew day itself.
-
Is there still a need to keep checking the USCIS website for status even after receiving the hardcopy of NOA2?
-
yep yep, you still have to pay the PHP1,620. Pay the tax first before you check in so you dont have to go back and forth to the check-in counter. Happy trip!
-
Congratulations!! You will receive the hardcopy of NOA2 in the mail soon.
-
we also sent screenshots of our converstions through iMessage, around 2 to 3 sample conversations for each month. yes, we also sent an official bank statement of our joint account with the photocopy of the bank book as evidence.

yeah, we couldn't get a copy of boarding passes too so we sent photocopies of the arival and departure stamps on the passport. I got one too many stamps on one page at one point so i just highleted the ones that were important. Some were hard to read, so i put a note beside it and wrote the date and the name of the airport and flight number (exactly what the stamp should say). And we had no problems. Got the hardcopy of NOA2 the other day.
Goodluck!

when we submitted our I129-F, we printed out screenshots of our converstions in iMessage, gave them around 2 or 3 sample conversations for each month.

Hello everyone
we just got approved, we received our NOA2 on the 31 of October.
we were sooooooo happy too read these exciting words:
On October 31, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).
So they received our RFE response on the 25 th of October and we got our NOA2 in exactly 6 days
Oh cool! We got the same email on October 31 too! So excited! 40 days since NOA1 for us....
-
So glad some of you are getting your approvals - I hope the rest of you have good news soon!
We filed for our K1 towards the end of July and just got our approval on October 1st! I got another update from USCIS on Oct. 3, saying our case was sent to DOS & I got our official NOA2 in the mail yesterday!
I think things have been moving quickly - we didnt expect anything till December, especially now with the govt. shutdown. I hope the officers are not making things more difficult for your cases - Mine went smoothly so far, although I do live in Massachusetts, which has had same-sex marriage for quite some time.
Good luck to you all!
oh wow, congratulations! hope ours will be approved in a couple of months or so too...which is late November. good luck everyone!!

Hi guys,
On September 12th we receive this email "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797)" but it's already October 2 and we still havent received anyhting yet. How long does it usually take for us to receive the Form I-797?
And also, anybody out there waiting in Manila or whose other half is in Manila?
How long to get MCN
