  1. Hi, All,

Today is our 1 year anniversary! (time seriously flies!!! didn't feel like it's been so long in marriage, but definitely feel very long waiting for GC >"< )

Few weeks ago I went for an infopss. The officer told me that our case was transferred by accident to San Francisco!

    (We live in New York...)

And on Monday I got the respond for my care inquiry (I-130), they said my case now is being processed. Within 90 days, I should be hearing an result or other actions required.

I just sent out the renewal for I-765 and I-131 on Tuesday.

I really hope that I can get GC soon!

Hey, we share a wedding anniversary! and we got married in New york too but now in SF heh :)

i;m about to submit my renewal package - how do you know which USCIS granted your original 1-765 ?

  2. Checked my AOS case status online last night and found this:

On March 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxx. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by May 22, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.

YAy! congrats! Great news to hear!

  3. Hey everyone, so I woke up today to my husband telling me we got a uscis email... It says the following:

    Fingerprint Fee Was Received

On June 5, 2014, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC141711. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I already got my fingerprints and we filed in may19th.... What is going on?? What does it mean is it normal?

    Hey Mrs Lacka!

I received the exact same message on the USCIS website (even the June 5th date). My fingerprints were taken on July 1. I've since moved so really should be seeing a change of address related status.

I suspect it has something to do with the website upgrade. Let me know if your hear otherwise!

    Kate

  4. Hi guys i really have no idea what is going on with the USCIS and why they can not give us concrete answers.

since they changed their web site back in October I can not track my case status, it says validation error. I used to call the USCIS and entered my case number manually and the robot used to say the status but now even the robot says the information about my case status is unavailable.

i called them 3 days ago submitted service request cause 6 months after receiving the interview waiver letter in June 5th is over.

i just called them again but still no helpful answer

    Hi ivanalex1980,

I have the same validation error message when I search the website. I've called USCIS twice since October to make sure my application hasn't fallen into no mans land. They have advised me that despite not being able to see my application, the issue is just due to the website change and a system problem (not very assuring but can't do much else!).

Hang in there and I'd be interested to hear your progress :)

  5. Was awoken to our Congressman calling me.

He seemed pretty sympathetic, asked if I could send over a privacy form and a copy of my receipt notice.

Not sure if it is even worth asking at this point...Im away to dig out my printer/scanner lol.

Wow - good to see that he's taking action! Out of interest, what did you say to him?

By the way, love Montana and can't wait to get back there!

  6. Ok then, Not sure what i did to ruffle your feathers, but I'm not that easily bothered by trolls, sorry.

And, if by chance I were gay, I'd say that gays dont exaclty have things easier, so your post doesnt really make sense does it?

I did however report your post.

i reported that post too since i was insulted by the inappropriateness (after i accidentally voted the post up whatever that means :/ )

  7. Yay! Congratulations! Hopefully the card arrives soon! :)

Happy to report AP/EAD was approved! It was odd because I checked status on a Sunday thinking "Why am I checking on a Sunday?" And then the status said:

For AP: On July 12, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

    For EAD:

    Card/ Document Production

On July 12, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Didn't know anything could happen on a weekend!
