  1. To file a K-3 does the petitioner has to be in the US ??? With no clear answers or accurate processing times I think the best option we are left with is to file for k-3 ... Anyone has more details about this process ??? For what I understand the processing time is about 5-6 months (better than the year estimate that we have for the I-30) that cost more and that in order to complete the whole process (receive the green card) may take longer at the end are basically the cons but, I personally don't care to wait 2 years or pay more for the green card if I'm already in the States, I'm honestly anxious, desperate and willing to do whatever necessary to get out of this country and go back to the States .. I'm starting to feel that I'm no longer stressed out but sinking into depression cray5ol.gifcray5ol.gifcray5ol.gif If anyone knows anything about this K-3 please!! please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP

  2. Sorry guys for the crappy image sad.png Here's the transcript :

Me: Hi Laurel smile.png Do you know when NBC in Overland Park,KS will become fully operational? They were expected to be by the end of the fiscal year.. Please share if you know anything. I am asking on behalf of all all May, June, July, August and September I-130 filers from VisaJourney!

Laurel: They probably are already actually. We took a took in May and the facility was already done back then- at least for the I-130 adjudication unit. The desks were in place. Carpets put in. Walls painted. They were just doing some final touches. And as I understand it adjudicators were in training at that point. They were supposed to be up and running by fall, which is now.

Thank you !! you are very kind :) helping and giving out information and updates at all time, really appreciate it, hoping for the best for all of us !!

  5. Welcome Grayfer smile.png

    Yay! Come on KANSAS!

Welcome agbcha smile.png Good luck to you as well smile.png

Well, not everyone gets and RFE and not everyone ends up in AP.

You'd get an RFE if USCIS needs more docs/evidence from you.

AP... I am not an expert, but from what I've seen on VJ, most often it's men from high fraud countries ...

    Welcome adricas! smile.png

Did you get a hard copy too? Did it come from Overland Park, KS?

She requested an expedite on humanitarian grounds. (Egypt being a dangerous place etc...)

NBC- National Benefits Center. (USCIS/ Department of Homeland Security) One in Lee's Summit, MO and the other in Overland Park, KS.

NVC- National Visa Center (Department of State). That's where your case goes after being approved.
