  1. Well, this was a long long waiting game and finally, my ceac status changed to ISSUED yesterday :) it bothers me that upon checking on ustravelddocs website for my passport it says "no status update available for the passport number submitted". I called the embassy to track my passport and the lady said, "please take note that you cannot finalize travel plans unless you have visa on hand" im a bit worried.. Even after that long wait for the magic word "issued" i still worry about what the statement of the lady i was able to talk at the embassy earlier. Whew!

  2. I agree with hank :) but In mycase, to be safe and sure, hand a copy (original copy) of your divorce decree to your fiance. I have been reading posts and in my own experience, I was asked for the original copy. If i am not mistaken, 3 VJ'ers who previously had their interview in USEM were asked to submit the original divorce decree like me. It wouldn't hurt to make sure. It has been past 1 month since my interview and i still don't have the visa with me, the original copy of divorce decree caused all the delays I have now. I was able to submit the scanned copy but was still asked for the orihinal copy. God bless and god luck

  3. My fiance called US Embassy here in Manila this morning and finally and surprisingly we got our Manila case number already...but he asked if we can already make a schedule for the interview but the lady said wait until they get our file. They just have it on the computer but not yet the hard copy of our file. My question is can we now schedule the medical with that Manila case number only given my the embassy? or do we need to wait for the hard copy of the NOA2 from NVC for instruction? Your replies are highly appreciated!...thank you all! dancin5hr.gif

Have your medical done and your physical file will be in USEM in 2-3 days since NVC is using DHL in sending docs to USEM :) Congratulations!

  4. Thanks Keane for your reply. The NSO had done some clearing in the registration record around year 2011. They will only keep 1 registration for each person. They said if there is a second registration done, they will block the 2nd registration . I tried to get a new copy of my late registration from the NSO, but they said they can't already provide unless I have to go with a legal process ( court hearing)

But you said you have your birth certificate which was late registered right? Just use that :) The thing is just about your birth place, so settle it afterwards since your interview is coming real soon:)
