I filed for cr-1 visa. I kind of believed that they have some kind of suspicious about African countries. They will not approved your visa right away. They will collect all the documents summitted and they will microscop everything to see if there are something wrong. My wife went for the interviews on the 18 of November , they kept her passport asked for more document that she brought . They examined everything , she got approved today . Almost a month after the interview she was put on Ap for almost a month just to check all the evidence she brought with her that day . Trust me man. Things has changed it is not easy like the ways it used to. Almost everybody has to be on Ap before they approved your visa. Good luck on yours just be strong and keep believing .

Sorry man. Things are getting more complicated than u think. Not trying to discourage you, but u need to stronger. They are changing things. My wife went to her interview . Everything went well but they ask her for 2 documents we summitted but now everyone has to go through AP. They will keep your passport. She has her interview on November 18. Everything went good. She summitted the document and she has not gotten a call to come get her passport her. Now they are putting almost everyone AP. They are doing more check up before they give u the visa. My journey is not over yet. Good luck be stronger. I started not to think to much about it. The process is hard. Keep faith and pray.

Help Guys. Put the new adress. And you can call nvc to Tell them that u have moved. On my D261 I put my old address then I put my new address on my Ds-260. I called then to notify the address change, then when I send my Aos checklist I always changed my address. They sent me a email to notify me about my address change. Good luck to you all.

Hello guys. I went through that bad experience . It's was very painful and I am paying a price from it. Call uscis. Sometime they will approve your case and they won't send it to Nvc. It will seat there for months, mine stay there for 3 months. I called uscis and talk to tier 2 and finally they sent my case to Nvc . Trust me u have to be on too of your case. Good luck

You need to expect 60 days for everything. After u paid the Aos . I Will take them 60 to review your document , it will take them 60 from the day you submitted you D-261 to review it then make your Iv invoice ready to be paid , them it will take 60 days to review your civil documents , Also make sure that you send everything correctly because if you don't then u will have to wait another 60 days for the document resent to be reviewed, if u do have any checklist then it will take 60 days for the new checklist document to be reviewed. Trust me. I know your feelings. The same thing happened to me. I git my case approved on january but the ship my case to nvc after 3.5 months. Plus u hâve to wait At least 30 days for them to pût u on the system. Right i am waiting for them to send me my invoice to pay the Iv and send the documents. Btw try to collect all the document required so u hâve everything ready. Don't wait bc if you wait to get the documents when they tell u. It will delay your processing time. Good luck. Pray a lot. Hello guys. Tsc is the worst center to have to document transfert to. I have a really bad experience them. My I-130 got approved since January 15th. They left my document somehow in their desk. Never send my document to Nvc . I called to call all of people to help me send my documents to Nvc . Even if your document is approved please please make sure that the send u an update telling you that they sent it to Nvc not the approval notice but it does mean . Excuse my language but it's the truth. So be on top of your application

Trust me. We all going through the same situation. But remember I always tell my wife that maybe the long separation will make us appreciate the reunion. Everytime we gonna have issues when we will be united , we will remember what we went through and that will make us appreciate what we have and how important and meaningful it is to be together . Be strong borother. We all appreciate the value of thing we fight for not thing that we got so easy. Always remember that.

Mine was approved on january 15th. Nvc has not received my case. Bc Uscis didnt send it to them. They are not doing things right. I talked to tier 2 and he told me that the approval letter is a template. Then just send the template and don't send that letter until u are ready to ship it. They are using freaking excuses. It is very frustrated .

I wanted to share some with May filer. Please be on top of your documents. I got approved on January 15th. Nvc have not gotten my documents. I was transfert to Texas center. They didnt send my documents to nvc . I hâve to stil deal with freaking Uscis Alain to send my document. They made me lost 2 freaking month, and the moment i dont know where my documents are, i told to tiers 2 and they cant tell me if my documents was sent or have Ben sent. I am sharing that with u. After the 30 days Of approval please call Uscis to find out if they sent your documents to nvc . Make sûre that they confirmed that to you. I am really frustrated , but we are all in the same boat. When I thought that I was done with freaking uscis I have to check and sure that they sent my documents. That's what I am freaking deal with at the moment. So I wanted to share my experience with u. How can I requests an expedite from uscis to Nvc to look at my case faster. Does anyone know?

I believe and I found out that the officer that approved my case didn't send to Nvc. That's what found out yesterday. I lost 2 months after my approval and I call Nvc to see if the receive my case since it is been approve 2 months ago. Would they process my case differently due to the fact that someone forgot to send my case. They told me that I have to wait another 8 weeks when they receive my case . I asked the lady would she feel if people that approve after me get the case approve and I didn't do anything wrong . She could not answer that question. I told her that why i should to Waite because someone from uscis crew me. I believe to be fair they should proceed my case differently because I have already lost more than 2 months. I believe that they should treat me in a fair way. And I told her to finish that since she believe in thing to be unfair. I wish her good luck , she could not speak and I hang up. Yes I did. The officer was upset. He told me the same thing. He sent a message to the person that looked my case and required him to send my case to Nvc asp. Now let see what happen

I call Nvc yesterday and the person that I talk to told my that I should have a case by then. She told me maybe uscis didn't send my case to them that's y it is taking too long. So she told me so send her the copy of my approval. But before that I decided to call to uscis to see on their side if they sent my case or not. I was able to talk to officer. He sent a message to the center that process my I -130 and that the response I got from them today after being approve over 2 months " The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. Our system indicates that your Form I-130 Petition for Alien Relative was approved on 01/15/2014. We are in the process of sending your petition to the Department of State's National Visa Center. Please allow 30 days for delivery."

Has anyone been in the same situation? I am think to call them Monday to see if the accelerate my case because I believe that someone crewed me and they have to do something for me. I should have a case number by them. I need your advice VJ members

I am very disappointed because after u done celebrating the I-130 approve u have to wait another 3 month for Nvc to receive your case and an unknown time to process your case and send it to the us embassy. My friends the wait time is long. I am trying to discourage anyone but make your mind prepare for the next step that is very frustrated. Get ready for it. I hope that Nvc will will come with a plan to catch up. Bc if they don't , that gonna make things worst and people will wait almost 2 years to get the case complete. It is sad but it is the truth.

I call them. They said that they are far behind becauss à lot Of I-130 was approved by Uscis . Now they have à lot Of cases. They CAN respect the 8 weeks Time they ve been telling people. I guess we are the one paying the hard price for it. No one care that our family is far and we miss them. This is bs but I guess we don't have any choice but to wait.
