  1. I'm sure I remember seeing this question somewhere on here, but of course I couldn't find it for the life of me. Today I will be requesting a letter from my bank for the 134. Should I include my checking account and savings account? What about my co-sponsor who has two checking accounts? Is it necessary to include both accts or just one? Thanks in advance -Jessica

  2. James,

I noticed that you said you could go ahead and book the medical before receiving packet 3. My fiance called the office of the doctor that does the medicals this afternoon, and was told he could book an appt. a couple days in advance and should wait until he receives Packet 3. However, just from reading this board it seems that it can take over a month or so to get an appt. Does it sound as though the receptionist doesn't know what she's talking about? Also, if he schedules his medical now, (before packet 3 arrives), what paperwork should be bring to the medical? Or is it provided by the doctor's office? Thanks in advance....

  3. My fiance finally got in touch with Scotland Yard for his police check, but was told he had to fill out a form and then send it in before they would send him his report. They told him to take the completed form to his local police station in Manchester. I have never heard of this before and was wondering if it was normal procedure? Thanks -Jessica

  4. Right now we are debating wether or not to have him attempt to self sponsor or just use a cosponsor, which will be needed anyway for the 864. I have received the Noa2, so is it a good idea for him to start collecting his birth cert, police report, etc? Is there anything else that he can gather now that is needed for Packet 3? Also, should I send the 134 now or when he gets Packet3 or the interview date? Thanks again for all the good info.

  5. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that you could get a temporary work visa upon landing in the US on an approved K1 if you come in through JFK. Obviously you would still have to go through AOS but if you are looking to start working right away, and if I'm correct about a temp. work visa at JFK, this may provide a possible solution.

  6. I posted a similair question in another forum but maybe some of you here can help me. I am using a cosponsor to bring my Fiancee over on a K1, but am unsure which forms to send him to the interview with. Do I need to fill out the I864 and the I134? Should I submit these forms from myself and my cosponsor, or just my cosponsor? Any information would be helpful! Thanks

  7. Hello again

After reading through the forum there seems to be a bit of confusion as to how much money you need to self sponsor. My fiance is currently based in England and has tried contacting the London embassy by email but he received an undeliverable message. Does anybody know the correct email address? Anyone with self sponsorship info would be a big help. If he can not self sponsor,I am confused as to which of the forms would have to be filled out; the I134 or the I864. From what I gather they should both be filled out, but should I submit them from just my co sponsor, or myself and my cosponsor?

    Jessica

p.s. according to k1 guide i should send him 134/864 now, (since i have received the noa2). however should i wait until i am sure the london embassy has the package to send these docs. to him?
