The day is young... and it is only 9:24 in Texas.

Last night my husbnad told me to stop checking my email. He said when I stop checking, that is when it will come. But me being me...... I can't stop checking.
We were transferred 2 days before you. So I can only hope that Texas is working on our file. I know an officer was assigned to my case.. I just wish I knew when they will process it ! I am not a very patient person these days. I feel like my life is on hold because of this broken process.
I hope they are working today !

I can't handle anything after that. I have too much stress going on, that just makes it worse.

How did you find out it was transferred to Texas??? I have the below listed emails (four to be exact), but none state where the paperwork is:

1. Arrived 27 Nov. ...On November 27, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. ...
2. Arrived 29 Nov. ...On November 29, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. ...
3. Arrived 2 Dec. ...On November 27, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. ....
4. Arrived 3 Dec.(a few hours ago)...The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.
Kind of funny. maybe they just pass it around in circles for awhile. So when somebody enters a key into their computer, it flags a messege. Hopefully the last one means it is now on a DESK!!! with a REAL PERSON!!!!

Just found out i was transferred to Texas Service Center . I was hoping for California. Dang it !! Oh well, just thankful my file isn't lost

Same as ours. We got transferred to Texas too

after i got second email 19 days .finaly i received my third email.

Apparently December is being good for us, our case has been transferred from NBC to Texas. Let's keep fingers crossed and hope all moves nicely and fast. (15th April Filler)

If they're going to double their workload, then they need to double their workforce. They just increased the fees on us, and we're getting even less service for it. I don't care what their reasoning is, we pay for a service, and we are supposed to be adjudicated in a reasonable amount of time. 2 years is not reasonable.
I'm not yelling or mad at you. I just think that whomever told you that is full of you-know-what.

Approval ! ! ! ! !
NBC received my case for my husband's i130 on April 22nd of 2013, and
on October 29th of 2013 I opened my email and saw it!
Then I checked the USCIS website to make sure I wasn't going crazy and starting to see things.
When I realized this was true I had tears of happiness streaming down my face and I was at work so I couldn't post then but as soon as I got home I came to let all of you know that they must be working on April filers more, and that it seems like April filers aren't being transferred.
My case was at Lee Summit, MO and I never had a transfer.
I'm honestly in shock, I was preparing to wait a few more months from what I have been reading.
This gives me hope that all of you will get your approvals soon also!
Don't give up hope yet!

I was getting ready to give up and quit, I lost all my hopes, I was getting ready to cancel everything, but I can say its safe to say WE FINALLY GOT OUR INTERVIEW DATE!!!! :-D and thank u all that replied to my last post and making me think twice about canceling, thank u all soo much!!!!

Did you remember to indicate you have an ongoing immigrant petition in your visa application? If yes, then indeed you had one of those few chances talked about, which now leaves remaining chances even fewer and less by one.

Hello i got a tourist visa the last week my husband filled the papers in august and I just applied and they gave me the visa for 10 years (:

Because my husband spent Easter with us, here in Portugal, we were thinking about me travel there, to the US, for the holidays and for the wedding of one of my brother-in-laws (i already missed one wedding).
But as we have the I-130 going on, since April, what should i do? Should i request some kind of special non immigrant visa and the american embassy? Or just go with the ESTA (tourist visa)?

hello guys first i wanna say i am praying for everyone who is still waiting for the NOA2 and hopefuly you hear something very neary time as possible because i know how hard to be apart from your mates and i want you to know that my i130 petition got approved

Oh my dear, how I understand you, I am alone here in Portugal, and missing all the family big events ( like brother's in law wedding) but above all I had to celebrate our first year alone, away from my husband. These days i believe i cry everyday This waiting is frustrating!!!

Had my interview today and was approved at Paris US Consulate. Waiting for the visa in a few days. Thanks for VJ support and forums which helped waiting for the final result.
