Well yes we are engaged I proposed she accepted we have exhanged rings but I wana have a formal ceremony with my family involved and I don't have any pics of us exchanging rings,no pics no proof....so will it be a red flag if we get engaged now, thoughts?

So we feel like we are stuck again,

I have my NAO2 approved and the docs are with Mumbai consulate for further processing, we have been planning to get engaged for the last month but could not due to the death in my family and now are looking to have it done before the interview but due to some reasons things are not looking good.

The question is what happens if we are not able to get engaged before the interview, will that hamper the visa chances by any way?

I am a bit stressed about this although we have all proof of our relationship till date, Please let me know your thoughts.

So I got a call from the mumbai embassy they also send me an email asking

To go on the ustraveldocs site register fill in DS160 and reply back on

Email.

The website ask's for a Priority date but what I know that there

Is no priority date as such for K1 visa, is that correct? If no where

Will I find this info.

Yet another road bump in preparation for the doc's

So as part of the Affidavit of Support we need letter from the employer of my finance with certain detail and she submitted a requited in her company but what they said is that per the co policies the letter will be send only if the requester call a 1800 number.

Has any one faced this situation before any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hi All,

Need you help to prepare for the proof of ongoing relationship post filing of K1,

We filled in end of May 2013 and have not meet personally after that and I have read that we will need proof since we filled so can we can use the below.

Proof of an ongoing relationship: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate letters and emails, stamps on the letters (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present.

We may have a few record of phone conversation here and there but not much cause we use BBM and meet on skype on a daily basis will these

be ok to provide as proof if yes can we take screenshots of BBM and a dump of chat history from skype, has any one used this in Mumbai.

Please share your experience.

So we should expect a new case number from NVC? any idea on how long should this take as the docs were send to NVC on 30th Aug 2013.

My Noa2 is approved and On August 30, 2013 it was shipped to the Department of State for visa processing, how do i track the case now cause i wana know if they have received the package and it was been sent to the Mumbai for further processing.

Normally I use to check the status on https://egov.uscis.go

How long does it take to get the Police Clearance Certificate in Mumbai any idea would be helpfull as I need to plan accordingly.
