hi yes it is usual, just wait a little bit, on my case iv invoiced generated 9 days after aos invoice.

Can't check the processing of the case online. But you could call them and check on the case. Its been 18 business days since NVC received our AOS and IV docs and i was getting little anxious. Called them today and for the first time person at NVC was kind to me(I always come across some rude person) and told me to call back on Monday for an update on the case. She told me that our case is being reviewed right now.

On your second question, as far as i know (F2A, India) medical is done as part of the interview.

I don't see any problem with it as long as he stays unmarried until he receives his gc petitioning the baby isn't problem. Many f2b has a child or children already when they migrated just as long as they are single. We'll see other's answer

from what I understand Beneficiary's petitioner is the sole sponsor (probably petitioner's salary is enough to sponsor the beneficiary) apparently he is living with his parents that has dependents, nvc will focus on his itr alone since petitioners parents aren't co-sponsors, that is why i said i don't think it will create any problem

how did the embassy knows about the petitioner and the benificiary email? is this a email for yahoo mail? or the petitioner give the email of the beneficiary?\\\

how about if i have an attorney? is this possible that the nvc send the copy of I/L to my attorney.?

when you fill up the ds261 or change of agent, you indicated there who you want to communicate with the nvc, you put the email address and mailinh address and if you chose your lawyer then Nvc will send the IL to your lawyer

We just paid the IV bill, currently waiting for the DS-260 form to be available.

Our AOS and IV documents are en route to NVC, should arrive at NVC next week.

I can't find DS-260 instructions document that explains the questions, etc like other forms.

Are there questions that are in DS-260 but are not in DS-230? If so and you remember them, can you tell us what they are?

I just want to make sure that there will be no surprises when filling out DS-260.

i am not familiar with ds-230 but ds-260 is just everything about the intending immigrant, basic info. about the immigrant like name, educ bacground, parents info, your address, info about your spouse, your passport info etc, there are also some questions that is answerable by yes or no, and most answers are No.

Those who don't have a joint sponsor but the petitioner is living with parents and 2sisters but parents are supporting sisters, Will that be an issue during interview? Petitioner doesn't have dependents per ITR.

i don't think it would be a problem, since his itr shows he has no dependent.

NVC may "accept" it but the final decision is based on the consul's discretion/review of the documents on the day of your interview.

For employment letter, it is only one page.

I am not sure whether it is acceptable to get the W2s from theWorkNumber or not. You might want to check with NVC.

In my case, I submitted my tax transcripts so I do not have to submit my W2s.

i need w2 because she files jointly with her spouse so irs transcript isnt enough. crossing fingers nvc will accept it

Many companies do not have the resources to deal with this thus outsourcing it to theWorkNumber.

My employer only provides the employment letter via theWorkNumber.

When you print out the employment letter from theWorkNumber website, you need choose a tab menu specifically for Immigration purpose.

I am sure NVC has seen the printout from theWorkNumber and dealt with it before.

I just sent our AOS package yesterday, so I cannot tell you if they will checklist me.

I think the chance is small since I also provided the paystubs that show my employer information as well.

hi thank you for your response, I don't know about the employment letter, since i don't have any access for that they just sent me the whole 19 pages of "the work number report". via pdf file. i have provided the recent 6 mos pay stubs and itr. i hope nvc will consider it though, i will just ask them to print that specific page if ever nvc will request for one. thank you for the heads up.

i want to know if anyone here used the documents came from "the work number"? our co-sponsor gave us the documents from the work number instead of w2 and letter of employment. it is an employee data report that contains W2's for several years. our co-sponsor is filling jointly with her spouse so the itr alone won't work alone and as i understand it i needed W2 letter of employment and pay stubs to back up. i am afraid they will give us checklist since i failed to provide letter of employment and W2.

please advice.

Our AOS was entered into the system on Nov6 and the IV documents was received and entered into system yesterday Nov25. My husband just called earlier this morning and also told him to wait 30 business days. Hope we won't get any checklist. Goodluck to us!

congrats! looks like you don't have rfe with critical aos, iv isn't much of a problem as i observed. i am pretty worried about our aos because our co-sponsor gave us the work number's employment verification instead of w'2s and letter of employment, i hope they will accept it.

They received our AOS on the 13th of November while our IV docs on 15th of November...Yes we are expecting the same...hoping no checklist....

yes you can, if you are the one fixing the papers and who is online most of the time, just assigned yourself on his behalf

hehe yes i think if the operator said the date they received it, it is the start of 30 days review process. when did you submit your last documents? i submitted aos and iv docs together, hoping to have our cases be completed before christmas hehe then we can have our interview on feb :-)

yes i did but the operator keeps on saying "wait for 30 days, we have it on the 21st" when i asked when did they put it to their system she said on the 21st, so i guess i will stick to what she said 21st but dhl delivered it on the 20th

nvc received it on the 20th (aos and iv) and made it to their system on the 21st, pd is aug. 28, 2013 just called up a while ago i was told to wait 30 days
