Hi everyone, I know everyone is not in the right mood and I am one of you, although I already got my visa, one of my derivatives is not yet done with his medical, he has an ongoing treatment under DOT and the treatment will end on June 23 that's why he wasn't able to make it in our interview. i hope someone can enlighten me with our case since USEM and SLEC aren't much of help yesterday. Is there a possibility that my derivative could still get his visa after his treatment since I am the principal sponsor and I already have my visa even if our priority date is not current? Or just like everybody else he still need to wait for our pd to be current? Thank you so much.

Our interview is on March 20, 6:15 am
God is good!
Goodluck everyone

One more question, i could not edit my previous post.
I am the petitioner, in the IV package do I need to include any of my documents such as copy of green card, birth certificate or anything? I didn't see anywhere that it is required just wanted to make sure
for IV docs, it is the beneficiary's docs only like birth cert, passport copy, nbi, visa pics and your marriage contract also includes the IV cover sheet
-
Hi all, quick question can you send out IV package (civil docs) before paying and filling out DS260.
I paid AOS fees already and sent the package, but now i was thinking if sent IV package now it could save some time maybe
you need the IV cover sheet for the IV docs and you can only print it out once IV fee has been paid.

case completed today finally

Hi. Based on ur timeline it only takes 9days for you to have the case number from NVC. That is what we're waiting
oh i thought you are waiting for case completion. Yes my case number was given pretty fast. my noa2 was pretty fast too. But the nvc process was quite a pain in the A&$ recently when i got checklist review of docs take quite long
-
nvc received my checklist docs on dec 19th too but made it to their system for review on dec 20, it will take between 15-30 business days before you hear feedback from nvc. you can try callinh again on jan 9 up to next week
-
Can I have the number? When my husband tried to call them he is charged for the long distance call. Is that how it works? Thanks
tell your husband to download magic jack it's free. this is the num +1 (603) 334-0700
-
sent: 12/05
entered into system:12/11
why is yours taking so long?? You should have heard something by now from NVC
i also received checklist on our aos on dec 17th, we sent the docu the next day then nvc received it on 19th but made it to their system for review on 20th. looks like your checklist takes another 20 business days again?

Update: Called earlier ..and got the Case Complete after one checklist. Can't complain as it was something that I'd overlooked.
For future AOS filers so that they don't overlook what I did
In Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, please correct the following...
[x] Item 10. The current annual household income must equal the sum of items 5, 6.c., 7.c., 8.c., and 9.c.
Good Luck to all.
congrats when did you send your checklist

Hi,
NVC received our I-864 on Dec 2nd. A week later, I realized that I missed filling out Item 10 under Part 6.
So, I sent out the corrected page to NVC and they received it on Dec 13th.
Today, I received a checklist from NVC about the above issue.
I have a couple of questions:
1. When you respond a check list to NVC, do you send out just the corrected page (page 5 out 9) or the whole I-864 pages again?
2. I am calling NVC now, do you think we should send the corrected page again to NVC?
Also, the checklist mentioned about NVC is waiting for supporting civil documents for DS-260 although NVC already received it on Dec 2nd.
I believe this is just a false checklist?
Thanks.
you need to send a new set of I-864 regardless if the mistake is just one word and NVC saw it. The thing is, the review will take again another 20-30 days :-/
-
Yes... it's awfully silly:-)
Is your case still not completed?
got checklist too on 17th of dec, one mistake too :-/ adjusted gross income of our co sponsor doesnt match of what she had on her itr, i used what she had on her w2's since she is filling jointly with her spouse and we are not going to use her spouse income, but that was wrong, nvc said we should put whatever it is on line 22 of her itr regardless is she is filling jointly
-
"In Part 5. Sponsor's Household Size, please correct the following...
[x] Item 1. The number of sponsored persons must match the number listed in Part 3, Item 7."
I've simply put digit "1" in wrong field... so the actual household size is correct, but number in a wrong place.
awww that sucks, pretty close, that is your only mistake?
-
i called them yesterday then on the same day they sent me the checklist, the 2012's adjusted gross income in our co-sponsor's I-864a i get confused since we are not going to use her spouse salary, i put what was on her 2012's w'2s as adviced by few. but nvc told me to just put what was on line 22 from 1040 regardless if she's filling jointly. it's really confusing if your co-sponsor is filling jointly and will not use her spouse salary hehe i hope my husband can send it today
-
almost case completed if not with the slightest mistake I've made, now I have to resend the i-864a another month of agony of waiting lol
-

Case completed: December 9, 2013

hi when did you submitted your aos and iv docs? congrats on the case completion!
-
Oh that's great! Congrats for an early acceptance. How i wish mine will be the same as yours.hehe Goodluck for your upcoming case completion! Hoping mine is coming soon too!
thanks! seems like AOS is being reviewed longer compare to iv docs, i sent them together and Iv docs get accepted first. i called just now, told me to give them 20 business days for the aos so I'll call on dec 18th again.good luck on your case too!
-
Cheeky0527,
How's your AOS documents? Accepted too? If im not mistaken, according to your signature, your iv docs entered into system on Nov21. So yesterday was its 11th business day. Early acceptance. I thought they are reviewing the documents for 15-20 business days. Did you call the second time to confirm that?
it is actually 14th business days yesterday, (2 weeks) I was told IV docs are accepted, AOS is still on review process and I should try to call again next week. Dec 18th is the 20th days. Some cases i believed got a feedback
in 2 weeks.

I already asked, but the people I talked to doesn't seem to know the answer and they just gave me an email add and phone number to send my queries. I already called but can't get through the line, I also sent emails, i just don't know when are they going to reply. I am still hoping they will consider my minor kid since he is just my derivative and my visa is on hand already, i checked my ceac status and it indicates as ISSUED. Hoping for a miracle.
