average time for NOA2 is around 6-8 months. Ours took 8 months.

  6. The amount of VJ reports about NOA2s and transfers appears to prove that the assumption of some users that people 'forget' to update their timelines is incorrect. They apparently remember.

  7. With respect to all K1 filers, I am trying to understand how those visas are processed so much faster than CR1 visas. I mean we are already married, and in some cases more than two years, but yet we have to wait the longest and get the least amount of information regarding the status. It is like it is a penalty for doing getting married. That just makes no sense at all in anyway.

wait till you hit the six months waiting and k-1s getting approved in less than a month, it can make you go nuts.
