Our interviews are exactly a week apart. My medical exam is in a week and 3 days, exactly 1 week before my interview.
Planning to get a November 1st ticket if everything goes well.

I had my interview this morning I woke up at 5am because I couldn't sleep, I was that nervous. The whole process was pretty easy; a lot of waiting, but the interview itself lasted about 3 minutes only. I was like, don't you want to keep my photocopies? Don't you want to see my pictures? He said no, we have everything we need. I was surprised by that as every guide says to take photocopies of your docs. Maybe they scan them these days?? Anyway, I was a little over prepared but that's ok. I am so happy to say I have been approved!! I know this is only the start of a long journey but after more than 7 months of waiting, I am so glad this part is nearly over.
Thanks for being my buddies these last few months, you've helped me more than you know. Even though I don't post everyday, I do read this thread everyday and will continue to do so until everyone has NOA2 and beyond.
Good luck to you all, especially those still waiting for NOA2! We'll be with our loved ones soooon!

I got an email this morning at 9am EST to tell me that our file has been shipped. That's exactly 6 days after NOA2, not bad at all.

I think its just people not updating or something. So months have increased by several tickets.

I have noticed some people not upgrading their timelines correctly. Remember when you receive an NOA2, fill the date your received it. Do not skip this step and move on to the NVC part.
If you do this, your timeline thinks you are in the NOA2 phase still. So please update it correctly to reflect the process you are going through.
Due to all the wrongly updated timelines, the Igor's Timeline table is all messed up. Since the start of May (which is when I started to keep track of progress), nothing changed beside a 1 or 2 drop. In some cases it even cause a spike in additional monthly updates. I.e. March went from 115 at the start of my to 122 yesterday (121 today). For the month of Nov-Feb it all stayed the same mostly. And yet I see people that received their NOA2 but never updated it and just went to the NVC section...
So please think of the community and update your timelines correctly. I will post my overview later today when I come home to show what I mean with this.

Ok. As requested, here is my letter with sections taken out due to likely changes. Please modify as you see fit and incorporate your own experiences.

Dear Senator __________: "date"

I am writing to you as a constituent of "state you live in", specifically "city". I am currently a petitioner for a K-1 Visa/ Form I-129F and would like to bring to your attention a significant discrepancy between USCIS service centers and approvals of form I-129F. My specific reference number of my petition is SRC__________ with a notice date of __________ being processed at the Texas Service Center.

Data from the USCIS website, specifically the search engine for specific forms, shows the National Processing Volumes and Trends as well as the specific service center for more individual data. My complaint lies with the huge discrepancy between the California Service Center and the Texas Service Center in regards to form I-129F. The USCIS data depicts "Pending" petitions around ___"# of petitions from most recent data____" for Texas Center and slightly less than ___"# of petitions from most recent data"___ for the California Center, with data only showing up to "__date data is shown through__"
This discrepancy, for whatever reason, is both unacceptable as well as disheartening.

Whatever the reason for this backlog at the Texas Service Center, whether it be because of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (I-821D, aka “DACA”) applications getting priority at the expense of I-129F petitions, lack of adequate staffing, or some other reason, it should be something that is a concern. Not just for those of us going through this ordeal but for all representatives of our country.

The 2 service centers processing times vary by as much as ____ days. The USCIS website is reporting waiting times of 5 months, although this number can apparently be arbitrarily changed as they see fit.

From a personal standpoint, although I understand that time is needed to process each petition, it is remarkably difficult to remain strong over months of uncertainty, having to support two households on two separate continents, the costs of travelling to see one other, the emotional toll of being apart, and the effect the separation is having on my 2 children. The uncertainty of the approval date makes it extremely difficult to plan for a wedding, and for arranging employment once my future husband has arrived. We only wish to begin our lives together and have strictly followed all the rules and regulations in order to accomplish this.

Any assistance you may be able to provide in this matter is greatly appreciated. Not only for myself, but for the hundreds of other couples who are going through this process legitimately and honestly, and yet made to wait months on end for a response and chance to begin a life with the person they love. Thank you for your time and your diligent pursuit of an improved situation.

Just a reminder to those getting noa2's, please update your timelines. I have been tracking it for two weeks now and there is no change in the overview. Which is worrysome.

Many days? Its only may 13th. You received your NOA1 28th of April. I know its hard, but still. However that timelime is just a rough estimate based on what others have experienced. The way the CSC is moving looks about right.

I think it depends on who you speak and whatever pile the have in front of them I guess?

I haven't seen her since January. Both her and I were planning for me to fly over there around September, even if the NOA2 came early.
But now we are actually considering the fact that even September may not even be possible if the NOA takes it's full 2 month course.
What's even more annoying in the whole matter is we sent our paperwork somewhere around the midle of February. But with all the winter storms there was so much delay that it took an entire half month before we even got our NOA1. That just makes the wait a little bit more annoying.

So.... I have this very very important question.
What are some good comparable toilet paper brands to what we have over here in the Netherlands?
