I feel you. I did my sputum too, but everything went fine. I did my follow up here in Lancaster Ca. as it was needed, did sputum again for 3 consecutive days and it was all negative and now I'm waiting for the culture result which is due on the first week of June. They're suppose to call me if it's positive, haven't got a call yet.

And oh one more thing I haven't mentioned, the ceremony happened after the interview and I was granted a visa. We scheduled the interview before the ceremony.

I came to US in K1 visa and one of the requirements/evidence in the interview is CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage). We did have a wedding ceremony (church) in the Philippines but we did not sign a marriage contact. We got married (legally) here in the States.

If the US consulate found out that you're married that means you got married legally, it's in the database. In K1, marriage should happen in the States, your beneficiary should enter as your fiance. But since you are already married it's should be a spouse visa.

Hi, I don't get your idea, you had a wedding ceremony in the Philippines but you did not sign the marriage contract, what's the point? I don't know if there's any sense to have a wedding ceremony and not signing the marriage contract. Ive read some posts here too like what you guys did. So I want to know the reason why.. ?

It is U.S. Law that every person file a tax return. All monies my fiancé receives is tax free and has to file every year. He pays to file his taxes. He also pays taxes for his properties and cannot collect any money in return. Because his money is tax free. He went to the VA and OWCP they gave him a letter saying his monthly income.

My fiancé receive VA benefits every month but he do file taxes. He just filed his 2013 ITR. So when I had my interview I showed his VA info that shows his monthly income and OWCP with his monthly income also and his 2012 ITR.

No, my fiancé purchased my ticket outside the Philippines at his brother's travel agency and all I needed was the itinerary, passport, visa, and CFO sticker. Call PAL if the philippine travel tax is included in your plane ticket, I paid the travel tax in Bacolod airport it was not included in my ticket.

Hi there, I am helping my fiancé's brother on his k1 journey, and i want to double check the things he need to prepare for the I129F Packet

1. Payment as required by USCIS.

2. Cover Letter. Should include a description of what your are petitioning for (I-129F), a table of contents (list everything in the packet).

3. Form I-129F: Petition for Alien Fiance(e)

4. Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years.

5. Original statements (from both the US Citizen and foreign fiance) certifying an intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US on a valid K-1.

6. Proof of having met in past two years.

7. G-325A filled out by the US Citizen with their information, signed and dated.

8. One passport-type photo of the US Citizen.

9. G-325A filled out by the foreign fiance(e) with their information, signed and dated.

10. One passport-type photo of the foreign fiance(e).

11. Copy of the Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport issued with a validity of at least 5 years or a copy of the US Citizen's naturalization certificate (front and back). This is used to establish citizenship.

12. Copy of final Divorce Decree(s) or Certificate(s) for the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance(e) if either has been previously married. U.S. Taxes does not have to be filed until April 15, 2014 for tax year 2013. If a person needs an extension all they have to do is request it. If any want proof of income all they have to produce is the 2012 Tax return . That is U.S. Law and the Embassy will not make you to produce Tax Return if they are not filed.

Update: went to health department for my follow up medical, and I met the girl I spoke on the phone and says my medical paper works hasn't arrived yet at health department , same paper works I have in my hands now. So she knows the process. Hehehe. Whenever she receive my paper works she will give me a call and do same thing I did at st. Lukes (sputum test and culture).

Anyone here got some papers at the airport when they arrive in USA called u. Department of state medical examination DS20154 and DS3030 and needs follow up medical? Nothing shows where to send all these paper works. But i think I have to send this paper work back to them with my follow up medical result?

Tomorrow is my one week here. I knew that I have to do a follow up medical but I didn't know I had to do it one week upon my arrival. Follow up medical means I have to repeat all what st. Lukes did during my medical? Or only the chest X-ray ?

been here in the USA for almost a week now. I got some papers that says i need to have a follow up check up with regards to my medical back in the Philippines (tb), but the two months culture came out negative. Now, it says I need to have follow up check up with in a week upon arrival, one week on Tuesday, what if my follow up checkup will be delay? There is no address where to send the result. It only says I will need to have a follow up check up with in a week upon arrival in the USA. I just took the papers out from my bag today I just saw that info.

I will pay the philippine travel tax here at Bacolod airport to save time when I get to Manila. Thanks Vj family. By the way sis, for security reasons, do blacken-out (using a pentel pen) the first digits of the credit card number of your fiance, and leave the last 4 digits. These are the only numbers needed for CC verification.

I'll have to have extra amount in case I'll have to pay the excess luggage weight from Bcd-MNL.

I had used pal for my three trips to lax....I would like to share that the 2 free 50 lbs luggages are only good for Manila to lax flight....the domestic flight from bcd to Manila free luggage depends on the type of domestic ticket u purchased so if ur domestic ticket has 20 kilos free luggage, u will pay the excess luggage weight like 2 50 lbs is about 45 kilos more or less....so if u have 20 kilos free, u pay excess of 25 kilos ...and free hand carry bag or trolley weigh of 7 kilos.

For my sept 2013 flight from bcd-MLa-lax flight I was able to buy in advance 35 kilos excess weight for about 900 to 1200 php which is far cheaper than paying about 160 php per kilo when u check in for ur domestic flight....

Lastly when u check in from bcd u wil get ur luggages in lax already provided connecting flights are of the same day.

My flight to lax is same day,same airline from Bcd , same airline reference (bcd-MNL -lax) I'll arrive Manila 4:10pm and my flight to LAX is 10pm. So I will not get my check in bags when I arrive in Manila right? I'll just wait for my flight and get my CFO sticker, pay travel tax and terminal fee?
