LynLyn120 got a reaction from AncaFab in Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case
No one can represent us to talk the USCIS people about our situation? Even just to ask for what's going on with our cases and why it takes a year or more just to get our gc? Such a bunch of lazy asses there I thought this only happens in my country.

LynLyn120 got a reaction from sweet cakes in Oct. 1- CFO experience
I attended CFO seminar yesterday, Oct. 1. It went well, very easy, the one on one interview was very easy as well. Our counselor was Ms. Joy, she is very nice, her lecture was really helpful and fun, she has sense of humor so the lecture was not boring at all. The discussion only took 1 and half hour and 1 hour for one on one interview. I was a bit nervous for my CFO seminar because some people here in VJ had a bad experience when they attended CFO seminar, but when I was already inside the CFO office I didn't feel any pressure or negative vibes at all, for me the CFO office has a good ambiance compare to the US Embassy wherein they will greet you with "don't leave the box in your forms blank otherwise they'll send you out and have to set another appointment" no one will greet/told you like that at the CFO, no one will pressure or scare you, that's why I was really confident and comfortable from the start of CFO seminar and even if I was the youngest in our group (we were 14 and all of us is going to the USA).
The guard will let you in and gave you an F ID (This is for fiancees and spouses) which you'll need to wear throughout the seminar. At your left side is the waiting area room, there are rows of chairs facing windows 1, 2, 3 and 4 (It is where you'll have to wait for your name to be called to pay for the counseling fee, after you're done paying you'll have to wait again for your certificate and sticker).
    FOR K1 VISA
Going inside the CFO office, the guard will ask you the following:
2 valid Identification card and photo copy each one
Duly completed guidance and counseling form (download it here) Thank you Hank for the link!
The officer at the window will announce the white card ID or F ID holder to proceed to 3rd floor for the registration (only if you already have a visa can you register, if you don't, they'll have other instructions for you). In my case, I already have my visa so I proceed to 3rd floor using stairs, the woman officer gave me a form to fill out and told me to gave it back to her if its completely filled out. There's already a line when I was about to give back my completely filled out form, I noticed that the woman officer will ask basic questions about your fiance like birth date and birth place. When it was my turn to give my now completely filled out form she asked if I already have a visa I said "yes" then she asked another photo copy of my passport bio page then asked me to sit down to have my photo taken, while I was sitting down and she was typing my information to the computer she asked my fiance's birth date, birth place and my birth date and have my photo taken. She told me to wait till 9 am (it was only 7:30 am that time) at JAPAN room.
    FOR K1 VISA
    For registration you will need:
    Photo copy of passport bio-page
    Photo copy of your visa
2 ID's and photo copy of each one (in my case I use NBI and Passport, so all in all I've used 2 copies of Passport bio-page)
The Registration form completely filled out
What I enjoyed most was my chit chat with other counselee, we asked each other which state will we be going etc. (but we forgot to asked each others name LOL) while our counselor was outside the room and conducting one on one interview. We were chatting before it was my turn for the one on one interview, not a tiny bit did I feel nervous when I was called. Thank GOD!
The one on one interview lasted 3 to 5 mins only, Ms. Joy only asked "the birth date of my fiance, if he was born in the state where he lives, where did we meet in person, how did we meet" Then she asked for fiance's passport bio-page, pictures and only took a couple of family photographs with my fiance and my passport, that's all! The one on one interview is finished! Then she asked me to wait at the ground floor to pay for the counseling fee. She didn't ask for my fiance proof of singleness, fiance and I's birth certificate, my CENOMAR or even the parental consent.
    FOR K1 VISA
The counselor will need this from you:
    Fiance's passport bio-page
    Pictures together with your fiance
    Your passport
I just want to share my CFO experience and I want other members (who will soon attend the CFO seminar) to know that everything is easy at the CFO, you don't have to be nervous for the one on one interview because it was so very easy, you can speak Tagalog (Ms. Joy asked me questions using Tagalog so I answered in Tagalog also) which I admit I am more comfortable with. And most importantly is YOU DON'T HAVE TO BRIBE to get your sticker and certificate as long as you are armed with forms. There is an announcement pasted on walls that CFO no longer have any transaction with Arturo Socrates, he is no longer an employee at the CFO, he was terminated since September 10 as far as I remember. The announcement was posted only last September 25.
Thank you always to Hank and DavenRoxy for answering all my queries.
To others who keep reminding me to relax and not to worry much, I appreciate it so much. Thank you so much!
    Nice to meet you all.

NO! Embassy will not ask for a copy of the I-129F, they have the original petition already.
Follow the embassy instructions letter... exactly.
You will need a copy of your fiancé BIO page from his passport for CFO, along with a copy of his birth certificate. Info on CFO is in my link below. Have your fiancé email copies of these things.

The guide on VJ stating to send a copy of the I-129F for the visa application at the embassy is sooooo full of "it" .... don't know why that is there.
What is needed for the Manila embassy interview is ALL listed in the embassy instructions letter. And the I-129F is not listed, nor is a copy of your fiancé's birth certificate or passport.
Like I mentioned before your fiancé's BC and BIO page of his passport are requested at CFO. And what CFO requests is listed in the link
For " proof documents" you can have him send copies through email, embassy does not ask for the originals.
I-134 needed to be original, with copies of tax return and W-2. Letter of Intent should be original from both of you.
